Swinging/Polyamory - I just wanted to hear other people thoughs on this....... - Exactly, so instead of saying your a swinger, you should use specifics. Like we are full-swap or we are soft-swap or we are seek polyamory. We are all swingers. It's like saying we are all human, but we have uniquity in ethnicity.
I agree that labels help. However, the label swinger doesn't apply to full-swap. It's simply not the way the word was intended. It's not what it means. "Full swap" means "full swap". Swinger means someone that deviates from the moral a social norms of their society with regard to sex. Libertine encompasses swinging because it falls under the scope of being morally unrestrained. I am a libertine by definition and swinging is only one aspect of that word.
There was a couple here not too long ago that was spreading intolerance by telling others they weren't swingers because they didn't "full swap". I called bullshit. This is far from the truth. I think tactics like that are used to pressure people that aren't comfortable with full swap into swapping. WE ARE ALL SWINGERS.

When I thought up the idea of having a Labor Day party, some thought I was mad, some thought I was crazy...THE FOOLS!!!! (cue maniacal laughter)
This looks like it will be one of the BIGGEST turnouts ever, and it's all happening because of you......kudos.
The festivities will begin on Friday September 3rd with a get together/bar meet at Jillian's High Life Lanes in Bloomington, Minnesota (that's in the Mall Of America) from 8 pm till. E402 E. Broadway Bloomington, MN 55425 952.854.5483 If you've never been there it used to be Gatlin Brothers Music City. Next to Players Restaurant, and across from Gators. We meet in the bowling alley by the bowling ball rack by the last bowling lane (We'll be the rowdy folks on the couch). There is no charge.
Then the Fun continues with a party on Saturday Sept. 4th starting at 8:00 p.m. which will continue into the night of Sunday Sept. 5th. The donation for this little endeavor is 10.00 American per cpl or single (to cover expenses) and a dish to share with other party goers (chips, salad, etc.) And we'll supply the 2 King BR suite with full kitchen and the buffalo wings (we're ordering 200, so bring an appetite)
And the weekend will wind down with a potluck cookout on Labor Day Monday September 6th at Como Park in St. Paul.
Come on down and party up . Bring your friends, your lovers, your neighbors (since it IS that kinda party) , or that special couple you've just been dying to break in. Whats happend to us since.... - - We've met some really kick ass people, to include the author of this post. My wife and I are from Oregon where the scene is a little more mainstream and a little less "Hush Hush". With all of the that "Hippy Love" left over from the 60's, the "On-Premise" clubs and being so full of liberals, Oregon is a swingers paradise. The Ironic thing is, because of the religious backgrounds of a lot of the Native-Born Utahans (being told no and don't from birth), they are some of the most sexually explosive people I have ever encountered. It is, at times, breathtaking! In fact my wife and I went from, soft swap voyeurs to the full swing naughty things, because of the energy here. It is as though we struck gold in the desert.
