Age - New to the swingers community - is age a factor in how a couple is viewed? - Being that we are in the older bracket, I would say that yes age can be a factor. It depends on the individuals involved, but many times people put upper limits on play partners and anyone over that age is a null factor. There are several women on this site over the age of 50 who may make some couples rethink their age limit or make an exception for them. Weare very active in the club scene here in NC and people know us and age doesn't seem to be much of a factor. I don't think that staying in ones own age bracket is the thing so much as the perception that older people are over the hill both in looks and performance. Our profile used to include mostly goofiness -- but then that was OK 'cause that's pretty much been our approach to this whole swingin' thing. It's not all that important in the scheme of things and seems to always work out best for us if we don't take it or ourselves too seriously. We're pretty comfy with where we're at now with friends and all -- so I've toned it down to reflect that but if I were back into a voracious hunt again I'd certainly take your remarks into consideration. I always get more action then my hubby, he has the same issue....how to start up the conversation. Its hard enough for a actual single guy to get laid, let alone a married one without the woman thinking your a freak or cheating.
We go to parties, and then follow up with the ladies there. Thats where he's got the most single guy action from. Even then that conversation can be a hard one to start haha

All I can say about that being outed thing. Take a walk in the mall, you'll see a couple hundred people that your more then likely never to see again, even though logically you live in the same area and do some of the same general things.
