Friend collectors or swingers - - We have a great core group of friends in the SLC area that we love to spend time with when we visit the area. In addition, we have a few more on our friends list that we would eventually like to meet. That particular video was made by a Colorado couple that, before they split, were on another swingsite that we're on. They actually produced a number of REALLY funny videos (most of which, sadly, aren't online anymore) and posted them on that website. As you might imagine he and I had similar personalities and talked at length a number of times online about all kinds of random funny stuff.
The Batman video was one I just stumbled on while surfing YouTube. Of course, I'm drawn to funny, facetious, and borderline offensive styles of comedy. We actually use humor (as you probably have guessed) as a tool to help us weed out couples that we wouldn't necessarily be compatible with. And it's actually for the OTHER couples' benefit because we are fairly likely (and Ms. Evil is guilty of this even more than I am-lol) to crack jokes in the middle of sex. We've had more than a few people over the years get quite upset with her/us for doing this.

Tact is usually taught by our parents and environment, not geography.
However.........(speaking of Southern Utahans) We live in a "Jack Mormon" area of the "south" people don't shove religious beliefs down our throat, different Mormons in different places (not trying to bag on Mormons, just a using them to make a point) 50 miles south, they are not as tolerant of us "Non-members"
My point is this......TACT is something you have to WANT to learn and apply to your life, where you live usually only decides how far you can run your mouth before getting punched out, some people tolerate others better over different subjects, you might find more racism in a community that has a majority, the more mixed the culture, the more diverse, the less mixed, probably less diverse (that can be a matter of geography.)

Another Swingers Show on TV - - did anyone catch this show?....we thought it was a decent representation of some of the issues that arise in the lifestyle.However,we did think it was humorous at times as a few of the couples seemed to be concerned with privacy in not letting family and friends know they are swingers (we dont either) but they are on TV in a swinger show..lol..it will be interesting to see how they progress in upcoming episodes.
KUTV News Story on Swingers - News - I can't say too much since we were Mormons when we first started swinging (still are, I guess,...technically). But it's been hilarious over the years to meet so many LDS couples who played HARD on Sat. night but left the party early to get up for church the next morning. The REALLy funny ones were those who would email us on Sunday night telling us they were going to quit swinging (Sunday guilt?) and then about Wednesday write us asking where the party was going to be the next Saturday night. One couple we knew did this almost weekly! LOL
First Meeting - - After about 5 years of being in the lifestyle that is still a problem for us on knowing when is the right time to take it to the next level. Our first time was unexpected. It was back when then web cam became popular and we played on cam with some friends of ours. One evening we went out to have a few drinks with them. After an evening of drinking we said our good-byes at the bar and drove home. We didn't realize that they followed us home and pulled in the drive right behind us. I have been violated. I would never turn around and treat another in a way that I know is harmful or degrading.
I would think it is very reasonable to assume that people act like decent human beings. Swingers or not..
