Are swingers moral? - Who determines what morals are? - There's so much to write here, so I think I'll just bring up two points. In my experience, someone who has realized Atheism through careful and philosophical thought, tend to be much more moral than theists. Furthermore, the bible has to be the worst script imaginable to derive ones moral bearings--especially the old testament. If taken literally, the bible has many examples where rape, genocide, incest, and much more are excusable under certain conditions.

Swinging on the increase. - - I think they are everywhere!! Wishbones - - Since we joined the lifestyle we've thought the idea of a symbol of some sort was a great one. I've read about the apple, but not the wishbone before now. I think swingers are in a good place for this right now - the internet has made it possible for those with an interest to pursue it, but it's not mainstream enough so that people who are in it "stand out." Pretty much everybody knows about the rainbow now, but I think very few would know about a swingers symbol, for a while anyway. Whether it was the rainbow or what ear the earring went in as a sign for gays, or I believe at one time the BDSM community used bandanas to communicate preferences, it's great to have a way to be tipped off that others share the same interest. How has swinging made your marriage better? - - Communication (REAL communication) is the key but still it's not enough if someone really wants to stray or outright leave. There's been an interesting discussion on another swing site we're on about some of this topic and an old timer on there (who's now divorced) brought up something that we found interesting and that seems to be fairly ubiquitous in the lifestyle. It turns out that most women who have been in the lifestyle for a decent length of time have at one time or another (multiple times for Ms. Evil and some of the ladies we've known for some time) been told by a play partner (more often by a single male or even more often a vanilla guy...lot's of swingers seem to get a thrill out of vanilla hunting I guess) that if they were THEIR partner they would NEVER share them with another man. Think about that for a minute. With the way most women are raised and the messages society pounds into their heads about love, romance, fidelity, etc., how powerful are those words are. In fact let's take a little poll. Are there any women who've been in the lifestyle for, say, at least 5 years and play fairly frequently who have never had a guy tell them or insinuate that? Just curious.

Chameleon was one of the best in the US. I have had some spectacular times there. The owners opened a diner on the east side of the valley after their club got closed down. Even though some of the old club regulars show up there, it never turned into a pick up joint. Somehow, Discretions & Encounters both survived in Phoenix. They are both much more low brow. I think that I know who put the screws to Chameleon, but I'm not 100% sure, so I'm not going to name names. The person that I think it was, got thrown out for being too drunk & rowdy, then went on a rampage in revenge. He was a hot rod builder with a lot of attitude. The last words that I remember from him were "you mess with the bull, you get the horns". There are a few bars in town that host meet & greets for local Yahoo groups, but the crowds there tend to be a bit cliquish. There is a low key party in Havisu that is very good, but it's hard to find & hard to get an invite. Havisu in general is a good place to pick up party girls if you have a boat on the lake. Tucson has an upscale nudist resort that attracts a small amount of low key swingers. Tucson also has a honkey tonk Drink-em-up bar that is run by "god" & boasts a well equipped side room for people who are feeling frisky. Just ask "god" for the "full tour" & you will get an eyefull. West of Phoenix, there are some mud baths & hot springs that occasionally see some playful action. A little north of the city, near round valley, there are some hiking areas with swimming holes that sometimes attract frisky individuals. If you are looking for kink in Phoenix, try APEX. If you want better odds at a good swinging experience, hop a quick flight over to Vegas. It's not that far. California has even better options, but it's a bit more of a ride.
