Safe Sex - How do you (or don't you) protect yourselves? - We now have the rule that we always use condoms. And we are still shopping around for the best ones that work for hubby. He would prefer not having to use them but not enough that he is going to stop. (Side Note: red condoms can have a BAD visual connotation for some guys)
I admit that when we started out we didn\'t use them the first couple of times we played. We then discovered that the first couple we played with doesn\'t use them at all. They had some of the same arguments I\'ve seen posted here. The fact that STD\'s can be transmitted via oral sex, condoms don\'t feel right, etc. I can see those points. But then we found out that they don\'t get tested at all and he picks up random chicks while traveling (with wife\'s knowledge and permision) I think that is the point that makes me the most uncomfortable. Most of the swingers we have met so far are very aware of STD\'s and take some precautions such as getting tested, condoms, etc. But I have seen the statistics on STD\'s in single sexually active people and it\'s like 1 in 4 and most don\'t know they are infected. So he is playing russian roulette in my opinion. We didn\'t know all this before we played with them.
So I guess the moral of the story is to talk with potential partners and ask questions!! For us newbies, it may be awkward and feel like you are being crass, nosy, or killing the spark, but the other couple should be willing to at least discuss it or maybe they aren\'t right for you!!

What happened to Swingular during April / May 2021? - Last visit shows a large number of members never returned during April / May 2021 - We have been here almost since day one, and we can say there are few factores that have affected swinging, not just on this site, but in general here in utah. I remember the golden days, where we had parties of 500 t0 600 people, most playing at some point during the night, people less judgemental, and from different shapes and colors getting together to have fun and explore... real open swingers in utah are in extintion and most have moved out of this websites. who took over the majority here? well the unsecure, the ones that are not sure what they want out the life style after few years, the husbands pushing the wifes, the eternal "we are just curious" the ones that look like barney and expect to play with kent and barbie, the kent and barbie who are looking for the gods to decend from mount olympus. in the past most people was inclusive, and freindly, they wanted for everyone to feel welcome and confortable, it was polite to introduced everyone to everyone, and spend sometime talking to get to know everyone, in our days you cant even get a "hi how are you" without being on people's exclusive, tight, and almost hard to get social cyrcle.

I am happy that a discussion like this can take place and that valid points are brought out that all of us can agree upon. However we (the minority---(all races that agree racism should be eradicated regardless of what nationality it's against) can try and improve our own litle space and just hope that it becomes infectious. I personally would like to be treated and try to treat others based on the way the carry themselves regardless of what you look like (it seems that people are not only mistreated based on color but height, weight, education, social status, financial income, and yes even choice of music preference---as noted here just to name a few). In a perfect world we would all be blindfolded and could only draw conclusions about someone based on their actions, and then again would even that be correct??? I mean I enjoy the fact that people are different from me and enjoy different things---I can learn from them and hopefully have something to offer them as well (not just sex---mind out of the gutter, just for a few---lol) This was made clear to me as I learned the name of an african American nascar driver just from reading the replies in this forum. While I doubt that the few of us here have the perfect solution to make this ugly problem go away, it is at least comforting to know that there are PEOPLE in this world and on this site that seem to have a genuine concern for the fair treatment of all, and for that I'm glad that even though it was a cyber meeting--I still had the chance to communicate with you all......................
