Do you mix your vanilla and lifestyle friends? - - We tell anyone who is a late night friend, ie: serious friend, vanilla or not that we have an alternative lifestyle. It has made things so much easier. Our vanilla friends are closer. We make it very clear that we don't have any interest in sex with them for concerns about ruining what is a already a good relationship. I am not talking, work vanillas, they don't need to know. I am talking about people with whom we go dancing or bar hopping. Why lie about who you really are? The whole reason for jumping the hurdle that is the "lifestyle" is to be free with who you really are. Then you are supposed to hide it with people who are supposed to really care about you? Nope.
Because of this, it is really cute when we throw a party or get together. The vanillas spend the whole time excitedly trying to guess who the swingers are. Most of the time it doesn't take much to guess. This reminds me of what got us started on this course. We threw a mostly vanilla roller skating party with some vanilla friends. They invited a whole bunch of people and we invited a whole bunch of people. We invited 3 couples who were swingers who did not know or probably didn't care to hide what they were. The vanilla couple invited once swinger couple totally unaware that they were swingers. We got very outed that night. lol It went really well so it carried over as a "good idea".

Are you still interested! - Dynamics amoung swingers - Maybe its just us.. but we certainly find we go through stages. Some (like now) when were very social and meeting lots of people and some when we just hangout with the same good friends and maybe not swing for months. Alot depends whats going on in our lives, how busy we are and of course if there are any people worth meeting.
gang bangs - - You are so very right NC cpl the GB parties we have been to there was more than one lady and the guys have always seemed to give out before the ladies do ;) . What we have found is with the GB parties everyone who shows up are REAL there is no drama no waiting to find out if the persons you meet are ready to play none of the MIND GAMES some people like to play.
Everyone who shows at the parties understand the rule you come you play there are no watchers allowed. Attending a party like this just adds that little bit of extra excitement that this lifestyle has to offer it offsets thetimes you meet people who love to play "mindgames".
Don't get us wrong, we still enjoy meeting with cpls one on one but if you have never been to a "Gangbang" you really don't know the fun you are missing. Caution be ready to be labled "WILD", "hard core swingers" etc... our philosophy is its our bodies our life if we choose to be a bit on the "WILD" side and people want to judge us they are the ones with the problem not us.

Giving Up ?? - When do you give up ? - We go on a case by case basis...The biggest determining factor is if they set up and cancel last minute or if they cannot set up. Also a large part is how attracted to them we are...the more atttracted, the more patience...BUT if they stop returning emails, phone calls, etc...We write them off as either fantasy swingers or those who do not know what they want.
Bitchfest here...... - - Having been in this lifestyle for quite some time, I've seen more than my share of drama. I think the most common misconception is that everyone is on the same mindset.
This is not the case for most. You would think that going to a meet and greet set up on a Swinger's site would be a license to "Act" like swingers to anyone you recognize from the site in a public setting. However, I've learned quickly that because everyone responds differently, it is best to assume nothing and take nothing for granted and put on your thickest skin and expect drama. If nothing happens, and you make a connection with some one or both, then build from there and have fun. I have more fun when I go with no expectations and have them wildly exceeded, than to go full on and have the evening ruined through taking drama filled responses personal.
However, I don't think that because some people may have jealousies, that they have the right to treat people rudely. I think there are many who can work on this a bit more and realize that we are all in this to have some fun.
