Swingers Forum - Blind friend requests

I guess Jesus was a fisherman, so why do I let those fishing on here get to me. We get on average 20 blind friend requests a month. We used to respond with a we reserve our friends for those we know or have met. Explain we have over 100 face pics there. In our profile we are clear, send friend requests with an accompanying email.

Rarely happens.

So we finally just started blocking those that can't follow simple instructions. Viewing them as fishing for pics.

Are we alone!
We get a ton too. We send out a polite email as to who and when someone is included in our friends list. We really don't get annoyed at first time request. People who keep on sending request get a bit exasperating. Even then we usually just ignore them and no longer send out a response or just tell them we are not interested.
We definitely don't even waste time responding. If they couldn't take the time to read our profile and say something initially, why should we take the time...
Our profile is pretty clear that we don't accept blind friend requests and we just delete them when we get them. If you send us a blind friend request, you clearly haven't bothered to read our profile.
We don't mind the blind ones so much. It's the deaf and/or mute ones that piss us the fuck off. And here's a pic of two rich guys kissing for no apparent reason.

You are not alone! Sick of them.
We simply ignore blind requests. Don't bother checking profile. It is a hard rule. We don't make exceptions. So you are not alone. :-)
I love the ones that say no blind requests and then turn around and send them out. We ignore and delete all request unless we have talked.
We are new and have been guilty of this...Just figured since we are platinum members and paid to be here that others would know that we were serious...but now we know better...posts like these are helpful for newbies.

The Wiki info on the front page is pretty helpful in this arena; to sum up - if a picture catches your interest read the profile, contact them to say hey and then send a request.

Regarding the OP it's very rare I respond nicely to a blind Friend Request as my profile is clear about them.
We figure friends on here are folks we have met and will continue to be friends with. We actually clear it out on a regular basis. If we haven't seen a couple for say 6 months and had no contact with them then we u friend them. That doesn't mean we don't want to see them again, just not really close friends if no contact or hangouts in 6 months.

Some of our private pictures are very revealing. And all are face pics. Probably over 90 of us simply naked. And as some of you know we hate clothes.

We do simply delete friend requests so they cannot send another one. We tried the no button and got tired of repeat requests. We also bloc any profile that we think are rude or send us comments we are so happy with. Our way of saying you definitely do not appreciate mr. Simples viewpoints so why have acces to our profile.

We block out of frustration to prevent the abuser of the button from even seeing our public pics or sending any future emails. We know kinda hoary but. What the hell!

Our attitude is not about privacy. We stopped worrying long ago about anyone asking us if we're on here. All our family members know we never plan a vacation where we cannot get naked. And they know we have parties at our house where we are naked and so are our friends. It is actually quite funny at family events, not one goes by without someone asking when our last party was.

It's actually funny on Another site we don't have any private pics all public and with faces telling our most intimate fetishes. But for some reason here we limit the interaction. Perhaps it's our deep rooted need to be ashamed of our actions in one place and flaunt them in another.

Thus ends my rant!

Mr simple,
We hate receiving blind friend requests so we won't send them out. One of the features that I love most about this website is the ability to see message history with other people so we can tell if we have communicated with them before sending them a friend request.
Would agree with that...we just never respond and leave it pending so they can't send another..we have 153 pending request..lol

Damn, that's a LOT!! Why can't people just take the time to read and be courteous?
Use to take the time and write a lovely letter to a profile that would catch my attention. Just to see it sit there unopened, unanswered or just deleted. So fuck it, unless the profile seems really special and worth my time to type up something. You get a blind request.
It definitely is not a competition. But after seeing how many Partnerz had we looked. 305 pending. Crazy.

If it is a competition, then we are losing BIG time!
Actually, if it is a competition, then I am losing to all of you. I have zero pending friend requests. Ha ha. But as for the OP... I never send blind friend requests. I always send an email first and then if I get a response I ask if I can send a friend request. Yes, it is a slow process and I often do not hear back. But hey, that is life right. I don't take it personally. And no, it is not a competition. We are here to meet people and hopefully find connections. I always like to read a profile first and often I wait to meet someone at an event before I email them. It seems to work really well. I have a single female friend and she lets me look through her emails and friend requests sometimes and it is just sad. Some people send the stupidest stuff. Like guys with no pic and nothing in their profile who do not even introduce themselves. They just send like a one line email or a blind friend request. I mean this person could be Bill Cosby for all she knows. One guy just sent his skype name and nothing else. It blew me away. Talk about lazy. It reinforced for me that I really need to put effort into reading the profile and sending a thoughtful message because that is what I would expect people to do for me. So those are my thoughts. :)

WOW, thee is a single guy out there that really gets it!! We know you are probably not the only one, but it is nice to know that you really do seem to get it and we wanted to take a moment to thank you for being respectful and patient. We wish there were a LOT more guys like you out there.
Well thank you. That is very nice of you to say. I will try to spread the word. It really should not be that hard to understand these very basic principles of human interaction. But apparently it is.

For us receiving blind request never bothers us, not worth wasting energy even caring about that. We have the control to accept, deny and send a request with or without the note depending on what we are feeling :). At the end life is a fun adventure and if a connection is meant to happen it just will regardless of how that connection starts. :)

We agree, we figure it's a way to let somebody know you're interested. We at least look at their profile but if there aren't any pictures they get a auto delete. Nothing to get upset about, we are all here for the same reason after all
A friend request? What's that?....... hehe ;) We love friend requests!!!! Making new friends is what this is all about!!! Just follow them up with an email aannnd a sexy naked picture if you like what you see! ;)- We're all adults here... If you're interested, tell us! If you're not, tell us! We'll do the same!..(sometimes we're a little slow at emailing, though)... Now, go get naughty!!!! Mrs. Funtastic! ;)
Does deleting a FR prevent the person from sending another one?

It doesn't, which is why I block them after deleting their request. An extra few clicks that saves my eyes from rolling out of their sockets when I see a second request from someone who can't be arsed to either read or remember.

I wonder how many people that send blind friend requests and don't read profiles take the time to read forum posts about not sending blind friend requests.

Unfortunately if you have sexy pics in your profile, it attracts people who will want to see more and friend you to see your personal collection. Not saying it's right, just saying its the nature of the beast. Part of the reason we took away our profile pictures and now keep them all in our private album. Much easier to control who looks at our photos and makes sure we know people either by meeting on cam or in person before sharing. Just our two cents.

Personally I think many of the blind requesters read the forum as well. There is always a spike in requests after I post in forum like now.
We have noticed a reduction in blind friend request ever since we added "read our profile before you send a friend request" to a picture in our public profile. People often look at your pictures but they don't always read your profile.
