We just wanted to get some feedback as we prepare to announce our July 17th mega-party in Salt Lake.
We've managed to secure one of Salt Lake's top venues, The Bay Entertainment Complex for a July Mega-Party. This private Swingular members only party will be a complete take-over of the entire venue. We are thinking of kicking the day off with a pool party then start the night off with a rock band around 7 PM. Or just start the night off with a rock band and have the pool open all night. Then at 10 PM, we'll switch over to a DJ for dance music playing hip hop, rock, top 40, techno, 80's and everything in between.
We'd most likely secure a block of rooms at a hotel next door so that if we did a pool party, you could go change and come back dressed up for the rest of the night.
This venue has 3 levels plus the outside patio with a pool. The main level is a socializing level with plenty of seating and a bar. The second level is a dance floor and stage with it's own bar and the top level is a balcony with seating over looking the dance floor with it's own bar.
Basically, it's a venue for everyone whether you are a 21 year old clubber or a 35 year old rocker.
We think we can pack the house with 700 swingular members and have the biggest party of the summer.

Will be our first event like this...looking forward to it! We could be coaxed to get a room next door "just for changing"..*wink*. Of course...any good changing room should have an attendant for security...and assistance....We'll happily volunteer...hehehe

Sounds fun, but were already comitted to another party..have a blast all!
I was really looking forward to this party...even cancelled a house party when we found out about this but what's going on...looked to see who has RSVP's and there is only 20 profile's...2 of which are admin...is nobody going...did the Hotel put a sour taste in everyone's mouth?? We may have to reconsider doing out house party...I don't want to waste money on a room and everything if nobody is going...Hhmmm...kisses...Naugh-Ty and Lucky B

I know the main description still says it could end up being the week before or after the proposed date. I imagine a lot of people can't commit until they know which weekend it falls on.
