What are the risks? And what will be gained by these actions?
In my opinion it will be a circus, and will be a breach in national security. KSM has been very quiet these past 4+ years and has been able to be silenced, in his new forum he will be handed an oppertunity to speak to his victems and worse his Jihad brothers who are set on our destruction. The idea that he is not already dead disappoints me and leads me to question what has become of our once great country.

Yes - what is becoming of our country when we see the the judicial system we're willing to fight and die for as strong enough to use for those that committed the worst crime ever against our country. How is it so many that talk about the superiority of our American system have so little faith in the very system they are cheerleaders for? We have taken to court others that had evidence that was classified in the past and will in the future - noting new.
If this scum is military than they are POWs however as a military man I see nothing in them that fit this term or anything related to military. If they are not military they are criminals and I do have faith in our system and look forward to us showing the world we practice what we preach.

AQ declared war on the United States in 1996. They are Soldiers of Allah. This will be a trial on the Bush admin., the FBI and the CIA and nothing more. This president is weak kneed and this will be our demise. They and the Bush Admin. have handed them exactly what they wanted, a forum in which they can undermine what we are. Our greatness on trial. As I said before these people should have been dead long ago.
They want these people to have our judicial rights in court when we have already violated them. ie their right to a speedy trial, And will violate them with a jury that can in no way be impartial. Automatic retrial.

Lots of people, organizations, and such try and declare war however just because the Sunday Quilting Society says they are at war does not make the little old ladies "soldiers" anymore than singing "Onward Christian Soldiers" makes all the kids in Sunday School "soldiers." Funny thing is the governments that can in fact openly declare war don't do it anymore - we just have "police actions" or "military operations." If they are military we should be treating them as POWs and not criminals. If they have committed "war crimes" than it should be an International Tribunal that they go before. The Bush administration very much kept from calling them members of any military (enemy combatants I think is the term used) however I still rather the term scum bag criminals and nothing more.

They are and should be treated by the military as soldiers. POW's in the Nam were held for as long as 12 years.Who cares how long we hold them? let them rot until the hostilities end and then hold an international tribunal. Nuramberg?(sp) ring a bell? You say you want them to see really American Justice? and this is cool but after all is'nt that exactly why they hate us? I measure this particular war more dangorous then any in our past. Swift and devistating action is required to win, but then you know that.
