I like the jewelry idea..in fact, I just came across a website..7946437.com the uses glow in the dark wrist bands with that number..[the #s spell out swinger] That would be kinda neat around here to have that available for the night outs and local events..[even for the singles to let couples know they are available] They have different colors that represent different swing styles..

The idea of asking them if they have heard of xxxx would work great...EXCEPT...we don't have any of those clubs here in Utah...Damn it!...hahaha...I think that swinger couple's will tend to hold eye contact longer and kind of give you or have "that look" (you know the "I would love to just eat you and your wife up" look)...hehehe...I know that when we are out and see another couple we are interested in it helps to give some flirtatious glances and smiles...kind of like if you're single and flirting with the hottie across the room...except now there is 2 of you...lol...kisses

If someone asks about the wristband you can make up up anything..tell then it's to stop the illegal whaling in Utah lake..! I like the idea of the light green [generic] wristband..and you could practically wear it anywhere and anytime..[when you are in the mood to play!]..The other different colors would come in handy at Lifestyle parties where there are larger groups of people but you may need to keep your color list close by to reference!..I think we will order a few and start wearing them when we are out to play..Mine will be the light green..Miss K will be wearing the cobalt..[it would be fun to see people wearing them at different events and being able to give a head nod or heck..even a friendly hello wave..] Keep an eye out for us...hee..hee

There are events here where several couples (both in and out of the lifestyle) go; watching them you can quickly tell who is and who is not. We have been approached at these events and bingo, had a blast.

Just look for the couples with Swingers tattoed on their forheads like the thing that Teelc(sp) from Stargate SG1... Otherwise I think that the walk up and ask if they know where such and such is.... A local club. If they know then strike up a conversation and ask what they think about the club... How many times have they been there, etc.... Or have you ever been to Las Vegas and have you head of the Red Rooster or been there? WHat do you think about that?..No biggy and if you zero on the local club... good chance that they are vanilla.

We are the owners of that website, working on getting it working as a store, and glad to see that someone has been to it.LOL Thought was going to be stuck with all the product too, LOL, but if any one is interested in these bands give us a yell on here and will figure out some way to get them to ya and the transfer of funds etc. Pass the word around as we and alot of people here in Florida thought it was a good idea and the people that have them seem to like them. The wristband would be very cool for big parties and swing clubs. Diane has a necklace with an apple that has a bite out of it from NASCA (was "North American Swing Clubs Association" but now just "NASCA" because they're international ). For those that know it the symbol says it all and for those that don't know it could be just some Mac fan or teacher thing. She did get called out on it once in a very strange way. She was at at GYN appointment with a specialist and he asked what the "Apple" was. She said it was her NASCA Apple and he came back with he had heard about it and "always wanted to try swing dancing . . . but somehow didn't think it was about that type of dance" with a smile on his face. She said if it was not for the position she was in she might have had a good come back but it was all to strange at the time. Both him and the nurse seemed very comfortable with the topic . . . we had heard there was a GYN doctor in the area that was active in the lifestyle so it could have been him.
The real trick of having something that both shows your lifestyle and at the same time being innocent is being ready to go one way or the other when asked. Our family sees our boat's name (Swingtide) as just a nautical thing about the change in tides and how it matched a change in our life too. Those that know us online and we cross paths on the water spot us without a problem for something more than the change in sea level.
It is too bad that we, as the gay community put it, can't come out of the closet. We have no international "rainbow flag" that we can fly and no "Swinger's Day" at Disney World. Lots of places and people come out with something to sell to identify but hide our lifestyle. The problem with that is it's always changing so there is no way to know. In most towns asking about a Swing Club would be hard because there are not that many and lots swingers don't go the club route. We remain a hidden community connected in groups here and there be it online places like this or clubs or just local groups of friends - we miss out on a lot of new friends because we have no clue who is who most of the time.

I read somewear it used to be known that the waist neckles with a lil trail off dangley thing was how to spot a female swinger in the 70's but as for the mail half or now days it's alot harder to spot a couple willing to have a lil fun. Sexuality is so much more about the moment then some stupid label, besides we have had WAY more fun with people who don't even consider themselves "in the lifestyle." Don't rule "Vanillas" out, they are better at living in the moment, and not over thinking the situation.

i love the idea of the bracelets. but before we acutally buy us a few, i wanted to find out who actually has bought them. Its pointless to buy them if they aren't catching on.
I usually spot the swinger's as the one's hitting on my wife in public. Or the ones having sex in public, or the married couple that dressed up like they actually care what they look like. But the silicone bracelets would work well and they have been around awhile.
