I think the last point by FLCPL is something to consider. I would be interested in seeing who was looking at our profile...sure. But I'm not sure that I want other profiles that I looked at, and realized there was not a connection to know that I looked.
It's like being in the chat room and seeing someone has their video camera on. You click on it to see them, realize its not what you want to see, and then click it off. Its all cool, but there is not trail of whos cam you looked at.

i think it is a great idea to see who is checking you out, see we just checked out all of you guys on the post and you didnt even know it
We've actually used this feature on another site with good success. Sometimes it starts out as just flirting...you look at me, I look at you...then we contact each other. Others times it has helped alert us to couples that we've missed using search functions, etc. FLCPL's point is well taken, but we would love to see this feature
We agree with LAGNIAPPEDC, that feature is the main reason we stay with the "other" swing site.
There's a little bit of Voyeur and a little bit of egotism/vanity in us all.
That's why we ALL enjoy both viewing and being viewed.

Like what has been said so far & I basically agree! If someone looks at you profile it doesn't mean anything really except they are checking yo uot. If there is an interest it will come out! If not thenwhy do you have your profile public is how I look at it.

A couple of questions:
Let's say your profile receives 1,000 hits a month. Not unrealistic, I don't think, since that would only be a little over one an hour. If there were a "compartment" (for lack of a better word) where a record of all these hits were kept -
1) Wouldn't that require one heck of a lot of system storage space (don't know, I'm a computer idiot)?
2) Does everyone really want to wade through all of that?

I would love to see the following feature added: On the login page there are pics of beautiful members and the sad thing is there is no way to locate them.... I would like to be able to roll mouse over the pic and get screen name, so when you do log on you can find and if in your area, you can contact for possible match made in heaven for all... LOL!

There is already a hit counter under the settings tab on the home page for those that didn't know that.
they had this feature available on another site ... it was ok you found that folks just started doing things so you would look at their profiles more ... not sure if that ment they were meeting folks but seem to create more traffic for them
It's a good feature but you can also simply have a button to turn it on/off as to who sees who you're viewing. If you dont want people seeing that you looked at them, all you have to do is turn it off.
Seems kinda worthless to me. You don't know why they are looking at you so what does it matter? I just looked at one 'cause the guy keeps posting the nastiest stuff that I just don't want to hear or see but it made me curious to see his profile. Just 'cause I visited his profile doesn't mean I'm interested in the slightest.
A post previous also mentioned storage space required but also the time required to save and retrieve all that continuously? Just doesn't seem like that much of a benefit.

we've had over 5000 views since nov. 28!!! theres no way in hell we want to sort through all that. would it be interesting to see who's viewed us, yeah sure, its always fun to see who's perving you, but if they chose not to contact us then so be it...we'll find those we're interested in by perving others profiles ourselves. Maybe an alternative to seeing everyone thats viewed you is the top 20 viewers, meaning the 20 people that have viewed your profile the most in a given period of time (week, month, etc...) that way you know who has a greater interest and likelihood of an actual connection.

if that is an option, it should be to turn off the feature completely. its unfair for you to see who's viewing your profile but not allow them to know you're perving theirs... at that point it kind of defeats the purpose of the feature.
