We have launched the beta version of the new Forums today. There are a few features that are not yet working. We will be adding new Forum features on a daily basis.

Some of the new features:
- BBCodes - Customize your posts with colors, backgrounds, images, etc...
- Videos - Add videos from YouTube, Google Video and all the rest.
- CSS Codes - Customize your posts using custom CSS codes.
- Voting System - Vote on posts that violate the forum policies or that are inappropriate to the topic.
- Ignore - Ignore other members and you will not see there posts again.
- And many more features to be announced.
Wow, totally different look. Interesting editor. Not a WYSIWYG editor so that makes using the added features a little interesting. All things new just take some getting used to...
This is an example of how you can use CSS to change the background of your post to an image as well as the font color:

The biggest issue I see right now is that everything typed is being repeated at the bottom of the post. Also, the ordering of the posts is a little awkward (the latest post being at the end). Just my "two cents worth!"

You can add almost any type of video from any site such as YouTube, DailyMotion, Vimeo, break.com, Google Video and more. If you have one that we don't list, let us know and we can add it.
Adding a video is simple. Here is an example:

Soft4Fun: That is no change from the old forums. The old posts are always at the end. Would be nice to see the new posts right up from though...

Not sure what you mean by seeing everything typed being repeated at the bottom of the post. Can you explain? What browser and version are you using?

Like MavenX says, it's always been like that. And that won't change. It's like reading a book, you read it from beginning to the end. Since everyone who first reads a topic starts at the beginning, it doesn't make sense to put the end first. It's easier for someone who has read the beginning to just flip to the end, or click in this case.

Two suggestions:
1) Add the additional pages [1][2]>> to the top of the forum post. That is the way it was on the old forum and it made it nice when you were following a thread.
2) On the new Site layout, the SWINGULAR image at the top left of the frame is not hyperlinked back to the home page. I got so used to clicking in the old site on that, it was a nice quick way to get home.

Another problem found: When I go to the Groups and click on a forum post, it shows a blank forum without any messages...

It would be nice to have the option of navigating to other pages of a particular forum at the TOP of the first page without having to scroll to the bottom to select another page.
When we are in a Forum and click on the Member's Name to see their profile... The screen goes blank for a second and then stay back on the post. No profile pops up.

When I go to the next page I get booted from the forum, and it sez operation aborted? Is this a glitch or is it on my end?
