i've noticed more and more men listed as bisexual. and i think a lot are bi-curious or bisexual and just don't list it. its definitely not our thing, but i figure if it makes you happy and gets you off, have tons of fun and go for it.

First lets look at why men do not list themselves as Bi or didn't until very recently, for the most part. Since swing took to the clubs in the 70's and 80's Bi men have been kind of taboo. Particulatly since 1986 when the AIDS thing hit the ground with a thud. Gay and Bi men are carriers of diseases, or so many think. The gay community was targeted as the den of iniquity for AIDS and other STD's. There is however another reason that bi is not readily accepted. Women are taught to be nurturing and have to learn to take care of children of both sexes. Men ont he other hand are not. They are the tough hunters/gathers... the bread winners. One can't be tough and bi or gay.....can you?
I think that the idea that bi men or gay men could carry death because of their sexual practices is fearful. For many men the idea of kissing another man is repulsive. Just think to when you were first discovering girls and your dad tried to kiss you goodnight...Yuck! What is interesting about the lifestyle and the idea of bi or gay men being a negative entity in the field of play goes to the very heart of manhood and what it is supposed to be... I guess if I had to admit it, I'm curious. I think most men are conditioned to believe that if you are Bi, Bi-curious or even gay that there is not only something wrong with you, but you are not a real man. As I age I find that my tastes are evolving and I'm just gonna go with them!!
