Here is a suggestion! This ship is sooo big we don't think we'll get to meet (or even find) everyone we have spoken to here. As a suggestion why not make a copy of your photo here with your screen name and post it to your cabin door! (Obviously if your sleeping or ???) you can remove the sign.....
Other thoughts are for
A. Little notes to be left by someone wanting to meet you noting a time and place to meet
B. High light what your schedule is so folks can find you!
This is really a huge ship...... with lots of places and spots to be; from prior experiences at conventions (Business of course) you may not find those folks whom you really want to meet!
We know already there are some really nice folks here we want to meet...... we would hate not to find you until Sat night at 3am as we are staggering back to our cabin!
As much as we might fantasise about all of you; there simply won't be enough time to really "MEET" eveyone we want too but that doesn't mean there won't be another time or place ...... We think a Swingular hosted pre-party would be great. We have met a few couple's from other sites, but this site is the most active with Cruise folks.
Exchanging Cabin numbers might be a good way, does the ship have a room to room phone system? If they do you could call and leave messages or talk early on.
We plan on decorating the door, but then again, that's a bunch of doors to look at!!!

We're in for the Swingular hosted party. We'll also be posting a board with pics and notes on the door. 5oclock..yes there is a room to room phone system that makes it real easy to leave voice mails in case someones not there when you call.

We think the swingular pre party would be a really cool idea. We've gone to quite a few conventions and the meet and greets are always a good ice breaker for everyone the first day. We are going with some friends of ours and this will be there first swing convention like this. So we are looking forward to showing them a good time. Of course we want a good time as well lol. We are looking forward to meeting you guys, lots of good looking couples going. We are taking cards with us that we've made, they have our picture, handle name, the site we mainly use, and we will add our cabin number. We find it helps when meeting so many people.

Having a little note pad hanging on the door is a great way for people to leave you a sexy little private note slid under the door. Yes you can slide notes under the doors, we've done it. It also adds a little intrigue as you open you're door and see "mail" waiting for you. Of course you could always leave your door slightly ajar and then have "male" waiting for you instead.

CHECKTHISOUT84101, if you read the posting again, you'll see it says we are hosting a party for everyone, this would only be a pre-party for Swingular members. Swingular is already getting maximum exposure from this cruise as we are the official swing site for it, hosting the group and group forum and signing up newly registered cruise guests each day. We will be all over the cruise ship with sponsorships so you won't miss us anywhere.

Back to door decorations! Does anyone know if the cabin doors are metal or fiberglass? Can't remember. There are great dry erase boards that have magnetic strips on the back and you can put magnetic clips on them to attach all kinds of good stuff from note pads to pics...
Another idea... LSO used to have 'Bulletin Boards' (a REAL one with TACKS and pieces of PAPER
) located in a common area, like the vendor area or at the Swingular party room, where couples could leave a message to old friends, looking for new friends, etc. You COULD leave you cabin #, or just a meet-up place and time ("the aft spa at 3pm Tues") But it seems like it might be a good way to meet up.

This is our first cruise and we are looking forward to it! So far from what we have seen we will only know one other couple...whom we have not seen in over a year ( and truth be told we only know her....we have yet to meet her cutie him lol )
I have been thinking of the door decorations and I mentioned on another site an idea of those command hangers, the ones you see advertised around the holidays... you put them up with sticky stuff that when you want to take down you just pull the tab. We used them to hang diffrent thing including the kids and grand kids stockings and they come off great!!!
But the "mail" under the door is a good idea too.... always like a suprise

This Ivy and Rafael we are from NY and iour cabin is 8122.. all those ideas are great excuse us if we dont say much..lol we are here reading and see how everyone get along... For our door decoration, we just put our names at the top of powerpoint page and downloaded some photos on it making a collage. Printed it on a good color printer and had it laminated all for just $2.92. We like how it turned it and of course you could skip the expensive laminating..lol We're getting excited about the trip now with only 10 days to go!
