OK,, not sure where the Announcement went but lets do this again....

Every year, we put on a Lake Powell trip. In previous years, it has been a mixed crowd,, swingers and vanillas. This year we are going to change it up and add a trip in June that is Lifestylers only. Dates for this are June 11-14. We are still doing the August trip as well, but it will be a bit tamer than the June trip.

Houseboats will be availible for those that want to go. The cost last year for the houseboats worked out to be around $800 for the 4 days per couple. This included fuel. With decreased fuel prices this year, it should be a bit less. If we get enough people to warrant it, and if I can talk the pig supplier to provide pigs twice in one year (Yes, Buttabing, this is directed towards you) we will do a luau pig on Saturday night.

Last year, some people tent camped as well so staying on a houseboat is not a requirement. As a courtesy though to those that are renting the houseboats, if you do use the amenities of the houseboat such as bathrooms, showers, cooking and kitchen stuff, etc... you donate to whoever rented the boat.

Having a boat is not a requirement. Those that do have them don't seem to have a problem "adopting" those that don't.

A bunch of peeps from this site went last year and from what we hear, everyone had a good time.

I will need commitments from those that want to go no later than March 29th so I can ensure that I tie up enough houseboats for those that want them.
Count us in again and definitely on a houseboat. You know how well some of us do camping... We are anxious to see you guys again and enjoy the fun times.
We are planning on it too. We had a great time last year and look forward to doing it again. We are bringing our boat and plan on stayingt on it but we are willing to donate to somebody who has a house boat.

Gary & Michelle
We are attending as well. If anyone has a newer model Wakeboard we would love to adopt you for the trip. :) See you all out there. Any ideas when and were we are all leaving from? Time and location for a departure from the Wasach area, or are we all meeting in Paige?
Curious,, if you want to, you can always wakeboard behind mine..:o
I would love to go. It would be great to meet some of my fellow chatters. But i live to far and don't know anyone.

Would someone like to adopt me or partner up?
Let's Chat and maybe I can swing it. lol
(silly pun intended)

anyone can feel free to send me a message. i always welcome new friends
We are hoping to go but wont know till the end of this month if we can or not. We will send you a email then if we do we would like to share one of the house boats. Have a great weekend all.
Hows the Powell Party looking MARDONZI? We are all set and ready to go.. Anyone know how many and who is already committed to this event? We know of several couples who plan on being there and of course.. We will.. Updates?

Looking forward to sun, water, privacy and great people. Anyone need a room mate? Maybe carpool down from the Utah County area?

bump
FunFunFun,,, I'm sure we can find some other object to bring,,,

In answer to your houseboat question,, last year it worked out to somewhere around 200-225 a night for the houseboats (If my drunken memory is correct). This year the houseboats might be a bit more due to the fact I am working on getting 70 footers with hottubs on them, but the fuel cost should be cheaper so that will probably even out. Each of these houseboats has 4 seperate rooms plus the main area which has 2 couches that pull out. We will try to keep it to 4 couples per boat so everyone has a bedroom but if a group wants to get together and split the boat cost 6 ways, then they are more than welcome to. The only issue with this is (and we have had this happen in the past) is the privacy factor if you want your own personal space.

We will be asking for a $250 deposit for those that are going to houseboat the party no later than the end of March. As it stands now, it's looking like there will be at least 3 houseboats full along with those that are going to be bringing thier own boats and staying on them.
We hope to make it!
PRAS....

Maybe we can help enlighten you... Mardonzi can correct us if we are wrong.

Being a "Lifestyles" only trip simply means it is not family friendly. Children and people who are easily offended by openess and nudity will not be comfortable with this group. You are not required to do anything more than just enjoy yourself. Some people may decide to swap, some may be involved in soft swing, some may just nude sunbath. You do whatever you feel comfortable doing even its just meeting new people and enjoying the lake. We have gone the past three years now and never regretted it yet. I can assure you, you will have a hard time finding more friendly and polite people.

Come join in the fun and relax. We would love to meet you.

Cyn and Him.
Pras... CynandHim said it perfectly.... No expectations. no obligations to do anything you don't want to do.
MarDonzi, I will wake board behind you. You just have to show me where you want me to go, and what move you want me to do. ;) Its going to be fun. So will you be driving the boat or the board???
We know there are more people than this that want to be part of the PowellFest party.. lets hear from you all so we can make plans.

Those of you fence sitters, just ask anyone who went last year... they can tell you it is a blast.

Mardonzi,, maybe we should post a few pics now then of last year.
Well,, this really isn't the Official Powellfest,,, That one is in August. Perhaps we should have a "Name this Party" contest?? Winner gets ???????
We would like to attend. Wetried to go last year (and were actually headed out the door) when we got a call about a death in the family. Luckily we didn't affect anyone else because we were bringing our own boat. If we are still welcome this year we would like to chip in for a houseboat.
We really want to go, and would love to donate to house boat in exchange for the use of the rest room.... We will be bringing jet skis, and would also need help with getting some camping supplies to the designated camp sight.... Let us know if anyone is willing....The Tarts
Hauling stuff uplake or towing boats isn't a problem.

We will probably be chefing dinners again for Friday and Saturday night for anyone that wants to participate. Last year, we charged 50.00 a couple for dinner for both nights. Any money extra above and beyond the actual cost of food is donated to the local food bank. Last year between the Poke Her Run and the dinners, we donated over $1200 to local charities..

In other words, you get to go, get wild and crazy, and the blowjobs given are all given for a good cause!
We are so there. Cant wait.
Mardonzi :
Do you pull out of Wahweap or Bullfrog? This might help some make plans. Thanks
Its looking like we will be pulling out of Wahweap and/or Antelope Point. Travel times vary, but historically, it's about 45 min- 1 hr longer run out of Salt Lake to Page than to Bullfrog. There are commitments from quite a few people for this party that are coming in from the Vegas area as well as Phoenix and SoCal so the Page departure is the best option.

If you are running a typical boat, runtime downlake from Bullfrog to where we throw the party is about 2 hours.
I guess we won't be working this summer. Laughlin, Dippin in the water fest (July Powell Fest),
Sturgis and then Powell Fest. Is there still time to add in a jont to Europe?
COUNT US IN! I will call on the little piggies Monday and get them started.
For all of you reading this that havn't been, last year was our first and had the time of our lives. The people are friendly, the food is increadible and you will enjoy the the time at the lake.
Thanks Mardonzi for putting this thing together.
C & R
BUTTABING..
WONDERFUL, we are looking forward to seeing you both again..
and to Mardonzi... many thanks
Cyn and Kev
WET AND WILD..
Did your other tv ever work again?
Hym,, thanks for the accolades,, you have a place to stay now.. ;)

AZW&W.. how about we set up camp close to a cliff and do Porno on the cliffwall with a powerpoint projector?? Drive in movie porn? If we do it this way, UTCPLforFunFunfun can bring PopPorn

(I know,, that was BBBAAAADD)
Is there a better count on who and how many will be attending? I need to know how many piggies to ween?
Kev and Cyn we are both looking forward to seeing the two of you again as well. For the rest of the great people we met we are also looking forward to seeing them again.
The power point sounds like a great idea.
For those who do not have boats, don't let that hinder you, there are plenty. Even our dingy has room for a few (3 suited couples or 10 or 15 naked).
C & R
Hey, i spent last summer flying air tours of the lake...if there's some people who want to just go down for a few nights, i'd be willing to split rental costs on a plane and fly um down from Salt Lake (prob cost somethin like 300 or 400 round trip...and if ya get down in the plane just make sure its wipe up-able!) Hell, i flew over that lake so many damn times i know a few "hidden" spots where nobody will see ya except the tour planes, a thousand or two feet above ya.

But, alas, i'm only a no fun single guy :(

Oh oh oh, and if ya need any help with setting up the house boats and other boat rentals lemme know, spending all of last summer got me some pretty good friends over at Antelope Point and Wahweep.
M&M...what happened to the TV??? We had a great time last year and will do everything we can to make it down this year. I think we'll be putting in at Bullfrog though and spend a night on the lake on the way down. I CAN'T WAIT!!!! Mardonzi, you guys are awesome for putting this on. I know it has to be a major pain but we all appreciate it. You ROCK!
We missed last years, We will not miss this years. ( Lor would have my hyde) We have set the date, we are so looking to be with all you sexy people. Our only sad part is, we have no boat...we will need to "hitch" a ride. anyone, anyone, anyone???
Lor and Lar
Damn, not even if we have custom walkers made????:$:
We are so on this trip! We have a wakeboard boat, but would love to stay on a love boat made for 20!!!!! Count us in! If you think we would click and be a good couple to share a houseboat with.....let us know. XOXOXOX
How's this? I mean...how are they???
Hey utcpl4funfunfun that sounds like a great idea. We'll make plans as it gets closer. I'm sure there will be others that will want to do the same.
Spudz,, the word "magnificent" comes to mind
M&M...so what happened to the TV? It sounds like we might have missed out on something. Did the Mrs. start swinging from the rafters while topless again?
SPUDZ.. I know for fact a "blow job" of sorts was involved with regards to the TV incident.. but M and M really need to explain since you came through with their request.
W and W... if the wind "blew off" the t.v..... isnt that a blow job of sorts?
LMAO....I have to agree with cynandhim....BLOW JOB indeed. I can't believe the tv actually worked after that.
LOL I'm not sure what the count was but I don't think there was a space that wasn't used.
We have room on our boat trailer for 2 jet skis or 2-3 person Waverunner style PWC's. Ours arent running as well as we want and there is no need to take out all 3 out at the same time. So the offers up if you want a ride there and a place to put your 2 PWC's to save gas and enjoy good company send us an E-mail.

FYI we built a custom trailer to accomidate a 23' boat and 2 PWC's so we didnt have to drive 2 trailers to the lake. :)
So what is the count so far??????? We have a trip scheduled for the end of Aug., but we may interested in a lifestyle event instead. Have boat while travel.
Right now we are at approximately 20 couples. I will have a "hard" count by the weekend.

This party is also posted up on another lifestyle site so there should be even more!!
He's HARD, lol. We will be there. Mr and Mrs Curious. Still have room for 2 PWC and 4 bodies in the truck.
We are stillworking out the details, but would love to come, we have no boat (but would be willing to share the cost to stay with someone ;)

If someone is willing to help us out that is....I promise, we can be LOTS of fun
We are hoping to go but wont know till we get back from Cancun
Green,, you going to Bullfrog or Page?
We are looking forward to seeing every-body there! Mardonzi, you still have that extra blower for my boat right?
Buttabing,, yes I do,, she's running around the house in a towel at the moment ;)~
OK, we want to set up a Salt Lake Party to let those that have never been to this party meet those that have and get a "feel" for what happens at this shindig!! What weekend would be good (in April)

I've extended the period to get the Houseboats until the end of April. For those that are wanting to do the houseboats, we will finalize that at the party.
Hi Mardonzi and all other Powell lovers, we think that a pre event party is a good Idea, anytime we are headed for Utahs Caribbean our group gets together for the planning of a succesfull trip. What do you think about April 18th.
What a great way to build anticipation for fun in the sun.
mardonzi, over the top or the bottom?
I'm looking for a string and a hat.
AAAAARRRRRRGGGGGG!!!!! I'll supply the eyepatch
Getting closer!!!

Oh, and I've already broken our boat for the season.. Glad we got THAT out of the way LOL
Great Idea Don.. SO LETS GET THE PARTY STARTED! It would be great to meet alot of the people that are going to Powell in June.
Speaking about breaking boats, lol. Our motor just ate its lunch. So were upgrading from 215 HP to a 280 HP motor. Rebuild kit was $100 nore but i believe well worth it. Motor came out on wednesday and will be built by tuesday, cant wait to get it back in and start breaking it in. :)

Mardonzi, got any reccomendations on a prop size? WEre currently running a steel 19 pitch prop that gives us awesome hole power and a 55-60 mph top end. Now with about 60-70 more HP i was thinking about a 21 pitch. Too Big??
Mardonzi, shes still faster than many on one mill.
Offroad,, yeah, but she sure eats the fuel only turning one screw...

We ended up losing a valve keeper and dropped an exhaust valve. Luckily with the blower set up and flathead pistons, it just barely kissed the top of a piston and no real damage.

Heads and intake were reinstalled today and I'm dropping the blower back onto it tomorrow. We are going to run out on Lake Pleasant with AZW&W on Sunday. Got some really good help from some of the board members from PB.

Curious, the pitch is going to be driven by what you are turning RPM wise. With the added HP, you should be able to run a couple of pitch sizes higher but until you actually get it in the water and start playing with it, it's a guess right now.
I cant wait till my motor is completed. I was praying for a bent valve when we pulled a mostly destroyed plug from the #4 Cyl last week. My heart sank when I lifted the head and saw a chewed up piston. :( Guess thats what happens at just under 1000 hours on a Chevy 5.7 that has been used and mixed with stagnant fuel. Cant wait to get her back on the water and see what she can do. I just wish we could join you, Mardonzi and AZW&W, this weekend because I could use some cheering up.

See ya all out there.

Oh yea, we want to name the boat this year, so were taking suggestions.
Come visit us COURIOUS, we can try to cheer you up without a boat... lol.
Don, we have some bitching boat paddles with the proper pitch to get about 1 or 2 miles an hour on a boat your size. Did we need to bring them with us? And BTW, when is the kick off party?
As has been asked we are all wondering what weekend this meet and greet is going to happen? The weather down here is getting to be put the boat on the water temps and we have to pick it up in Salt Lake, so we want to do both the same weekend.
Did the boat run?
Well, the boat came back to life around 6:30 last night. It sounds better than it did before (if that's possible). We are heading out to the local lake today to time it out and to make sure everything is good.

As far as the meet and greet, we were thinking sometime in April, but from the sounds of it, there are several conflicts (Easter, Laughlin River Run, etc...). It sounds like Saturday, May 2nd will be the best chance to do this.

Do we have any suggestions as to a place to do this? Totems? Habits? Deer Valley?
Don,
Habits is a very usual and local hang out up here in SLC. It can easily be accomidating to anyone who is concidering the trip. How did the boat run? Were gearing up for the trip as well as our regular sporatic trip this summer. Mrs. Curious just woke up to a new wakeboard yesterday and I just ordered in a new CWB wakeboard. So she is stoked for the season. Cant wait to see you all there.
Also, I will still wakeboard behind your boat as long as we dont go over 20mph. Your boat should have a killer wake at that speed and as long as you dont toy with the throttles, yes i mean both of them, when I am behind the boat. This should be an interesting sight wakeboarding behind an OffShore Racing style boat. :) Im in!!!
we would love to try again to come to your party... we love to hear how awesome they are.

we might be a bullfrog that weekend,, big might..
however it a long way down river to your hangout . and we will only have two maybe three days to be at powell in june.

we could make it for a little while if I think i can pull off the lets spend alot of money on fuel gag on jeanne. just got done working on the hustler and dropping new motors in.
so the boat will be ready for alot of summer fun.

you just need to plan a party in bullfrog once a year and another at wahweep once a year
come on don..

let us salt lake folks join in on all the fun of powellfest.
maybe everyother year of something
Motor is DONE!!!!! Don, they built it to 300HP, now I am about as powerful as half of one of your motors, lol!!! Going to drop it in this week instead of the weekend. Where are you at exactly, because we might be going to Powell and run her in the lower altitudes for the tune in.

So now all we need is a 3-4 more people to accompany us down to the lake.
We'll be up this coming weekend.
For those that are planning on going or seriously contemplating attending, could you please email me an alternate contact email so I can start finalizing the party. It makes it much easier.

We would like to get everyone together the weekend of May 2nd in Salt Lake (sort of an informal meet and greet) so everyone can get a "feel" for who is going and address any questions that some may have. Any suggestions on where to do this would be appreciated.

Sassy, we understand you wanting to do something further uplake. The only issue we have with that is this year our only connection for houseboats is out of Antelope Pt Marina. (Mrs Mar no longer works for the "other guys"). I'm sure we can do some sort of a get together up there one of these days. The upper lake has quite a bit to see that some haven't.
Don,
Habits is a great, fun place as you well know, but it soon gets noisey after 8:00pm and can be be difficult to mingle. If you want to have it there, I can reserve the North West section where all the couches are and its a bit less hectic. I will also offer, based upon the number of people who respond, the possbility of meeting at my home. I am not sure how large a group we can entertain, but if the weather is warm enough by then, we can fire up the bbq's and the fire pit and use the backyard. Drop us a line and let us know what help you need.

Cyn and Him
We are in for May 2nd. All we need to know is where? Hopefully the weather will be clear and we can dual the trip and bring the boat back south that weekend as well. Looking forward to seeing everyone.
C & R
OK,, if everyone that has said they are going to come makes it, we have 27 couples as of right now...

This Party is going to be a RIOT!!!!!!
all booked up? Only couples invited? There has to be a couple I know that is going. Would love to come out and party if it is still open and to SF.. :) npj
Noddy,, I'm sure we could find a place for ya!!!
what shirt?
So do we....but it has problems...
Damn thing won't stay down!!! Maybe we should try getting it wet.
Damn,,, looks like we might have to do some more of those things for this year!! Especially if the end result are pics like these!!
Wet T contest? Now thats an original idea. I want to be judge
How can you judge if your participating? You will participate won't you?
I think the guys should judge.
I also think we should do a practice run at the meet and greet just to make sure that things go, well just to make sure that they go.
This is right around the corner!!!!! :h
Is May 2nd still the date? Has it been decided where this thing is going to be at yet?
We are sooooo looking forward to seeing everyone again.
OK,, the date for the Meet and Greet will be on May 2. Cynandhim, could you help me out with finding a venue up that way?
MARDONZI, lets use this forum to get a few opinions or suggestions of where people would feel the most comfortable to meet and we will make the arrangements from there.

Things that need to be considered:
Space availabe to comfortably accommidate everyone
Entertainment.. music, food, beverages, etc
Location, somewhere convenient for most people to travel too.
Cost, some locations may want to charge high fees.

Some possibilities currently are; HABITS, TOTEMS, and we have had a private home offered.

Make your suggestions NOW, time is critical in order to reserve the space we need...
BTW... who all and how many couples or people will be attending the Powell Meet and Greet?
Us deffinetly!
We are checking with TOTEMS for the Powell meet and greet, are there any objections? If not, and if things work out, we will pass on the information. Is May 2nd still the date for you to be here MARDONZI?
we will know more by the weekend. my company is giving me the shaft,, and we all know that i don't swing that way!!!! it will either be May 2nd or May 9th.. one of those 2 dates
We will be on the YOLO cruise until the 3rd of May but we really want to go on the Powell trip and we do want to chip in for one of the house boats
Sexyplay, we took a vote between ourselves and decided we want you to come.
The more the marrier.
Mrs Mar was talking to CynandHim today so.... I guess May 2nd is the date. I'm assuming that Totems is the place.

Any ideas on hotels around there? We will more than likely be flying in on Saturday and flying back out on Sunday for this.
What do we need to do to reserve a spot?
Sexplay,, Just sent you an email!

We agree with Buttabing,,,
Okay, to everyone who plans on joining us for the Powell Meet and Greet, please let us know, we need a head count for the club we go to. We are planning on going to TOTEMS unless something happens that would interfere. They need a count to hold space for us. The sooner the better...
We will be there!
If it's not too late we would love some info on getting in on this fun. I (the mrs.) has never been to Lake Powell so what a way to be introduced to the beauty of the area right? Someone let us know if it's not too late to join in.

Kisses
T and D
Dont think its too late yet.. but the best way is to send a message to Mardonzi, he would be the best one to check how full the boats are right now.
I know last year we had a couple of people that camped out and had the houseboats haul thier stuff (and them) uplake. Seemed to work out fine. If you are wanting to get a room on one of the houseboats, we will need to get you signed up and get a deposit for the boat from you on or before the May 2nd party.

With that being said, to all those that are wanting to secure a space on one of the houseboats, we will be doing the deposit stuff and figuring out who is going to be staying on what boat at the Meet and Greet that CynandHim is putting together on May 2nd. If you can't make that party but still plan on doing the trip, email me so we can finalize the deal.

Houseboats will book out on Monday, May 4th and will be licked in,,, I mean locked in then.
As many as I can get...

Figures right now are at somewhere between 4 and 4.5 (the .5 doesn't come with motors,, gotta paddle that one uplake =D )
The Powell Party Meet and Greet is set. TOTEMS the evening of May 2nd. You need to be there between 8:00 pm and 8:45 pm PLEASE. We have reserved room for approx 30 couples. They have great food, drinks and a live band to dance too. Our area is the lower floor by the dance floor. TOTEMS is between 500 and 600 south on Redwood road on the west side.. it is a large wood cabin looking building. The bar and dance club is in the back. When you come in tell them you are with the Powell Party or Kevin and Cyndi to get in. If you have questions contact us or Mardonzi. Looking forward to seeing all of you there.

HERE COMES THE SUMMER.
Usually it's someone else TOWING the fountain...

CynandHim,,, we'll see you on the 2nd!
We'll see all of you at Totems, but more of you at Powell!;)
OK,, being as we are doing sort of a Luau thing on Saturday night (Pig in the ground and such) we figured we would do a theme party for Friday night as well.

My suggestion is going to be do a Black Light Body Paint Party!!! Houseboat decks are great for that and at the end of the night, you hit the waterslide into the lake and "poof" you are clean!

We thought about nekkid oil wrestling but figured the deck might be too hard to do that on,,

Then again, maybe a Friday day thing with cushions?

Any other suggestions?
