The past few weeks, there seems to be a lag between the time that a message is sent and others recieve it. It's making chatting much more challenging and can be fustrating. Has anyone else noticed this problem? Admin, is there anything that can be done to address this issue?

Same here CB, if we are both in the chatroom now we have HORRIBLE lag. Never has happened before the past cpl of months. So we just log out and chat on one name... to much of a pain to have both lagging ! lol
I noticed that when I had the cam on it was lagging really bad... but the min I logged out and back in without the cam it was going along fine.... probably a bandwidth issue...
Yeah, the chatroom application we use is a poor application. After 2 weeks, its starts to 'die.' So you see lag then it becomes inaccessible. We have to restart it again for it to get back to normal. Unfortunately, the developers are in the UK and they have very poor support. They recently asked for an additional large amount of money to continue fixing things and with our past experience with these guys, we feel that it isn't worth the investment.
Instead, we are putting the money into developing a new custom one of our own. We hope to have it ready for testing when we make the site upgrades here in the next month or 2. It won't be as fancy as the one we use now but it should be a lot faster.
Until then, we have to put up with this one and keep resetting it.
