Sorry for posting such a deep subject I just wanted to post to talk about this program I watched called Universe 2001 on Dicovery Science. It is really amazing how much is there outside the earth. Here are some interesting things I have learned:
We are a part of a HUGE Galaxy of stars (millions) and I think they said there over 200 million other galaxies.
Scientists have figured out that the universe is expanding at a faster and faster speed.. an hour from now we will have moved 200 billion miles.
Scientists can see to the known edge of the Universe, they cannot see past that point but they say that as galaxies move farther away eventually they will start to fade out.
They have accually made a map of exactly where we are and we are closer to the center of the universe.
I also got to see a picture of a Super Nova and amazingly in the middle it showed what looked like an eye (Makes you wonder about the Egyptions and there technology. Example: one of there gods The EYE of RA) When the star explodes though the dust creates a new nursery of stars.
Did you also know that the static on your TV is accually your TV dectecting the Radiation left over from the first big bang.
It really is amazing all the stuff we don't know. How can people still say we are the ONLY life in the universe?
Scientists are even saying we may not be the ONLY universe.
Scientists are also finally landing on Saturns moon Friday 9pm so we will finally get to see what it looks like
I know it is on Discovery Science but it may be on other channels so look out for it.

No replys... does anyone care about the Universe?
Yes you are correct, the universe is ever changing. And all those out there who say "We are alone", well in our opinions their just "knuckleheads". With such a vast spanse of space why would we be the only living creatures out here. We do believe in UFO's. As intelligence goes, we maybe the highest lifeform on this planet, and the most intelligent (well for most of us anyway). But we're sure there are others out there possible more intelligent then us and that's where the UFO's come in. So maybe some day when were in our next several lifetimes, we may all get the chance to travel the vast spaces of this galaxy and the universe as if it was our backyard. Just think someday maybe we'll be vacationing on some tropical moon of some far away planet. Well we can all dream. Just keep looking skyward because that's where the real action is.
