We were wondering if anyone has had their airducts cleaned and if they noticed any changes with alergies?
We've had issues in the past with evaporative coolers and allergies. If you have one of those in your house I'd look at that first and possible mold issues which seem to proliferate with the "swamp coolers".
Air duct cleaning works well and will get rid of alot of your problems........But what you need after you get that done is a Electrostatic Air Filter.... Call around to some a/c service places and if they dont have on in your size they can get you one custom made, or point you in the direction of where to get one......youll never have to buy another filter and it captures most allergens. Its also washable and reuseable......They cost anywhere from 35-70 dollars, but they work the best.

I own a professional carpet cleaning company and while I don't clean ducts I do know it helps. There are two types of duct cleaning. One where they just shove a hose down each vent and one where they go down by the furnace and really clean everything involved with the furnace/ ac.
The difference will show in the price. The easier less thorough method will be less than $200 while the other will be closer to $600. Google "air duct cleaning" and educate yourself before you go shopping for that service.
BTW I can recommend one of the very best in Utah if you'd like me to.
Ken Raddon.
