Just a quick point.... NASA supports the idea of man-induced climate change. Forget what the hippies say, forget what Rush Limbaugh says. Play it smart and go with NASA on this one.
I know, it's hard to put down everyone's pet theories on conspiracies and granola-eating lefties and big oil and actually listen to those pesky physicists and computational modeling geeks, but give it a try. All those millions of atmospheric, oceanic, geological data points that have been analyzed, re-analyzed, and meta-analyzed to the nth degree by some of the brightest minds on earth aren't really there just to sell you energy-efficient light bulbs and crappy Al Gore documentaries.
I know, it's tough, but embrace the nerds and their hard work. Love them. They're your friends. Let the political elements of the world poison something besides science and let the scientists hold center court on debates like this.

I do believe there is more than sufficient evidence to confirm that mankind's activities are proving increasingly detrimental to our habitat. All we have to pin our hopes on are scientific "models". WE ARE the experiment.
I have one generation (more or less) of experience on you. I also have one generation less to live than you (if all goes well). There is an old saying in the manufacturing world (probably older than that) - "Shit in equals shit out". I have an adequate energy and environmental professional background to provide a sound theoretical opinion. You should have about an extra 20 years to find out if I'm wrong.

These same scientists have admitted that the Earth's average temperature has dropped enough in the last year to negate it's warming for almost the last 100 years. How is this "rightwing Propaganda" Just because people are now speaking out against what the United Nations wants them to say? Furthermore, the melting ice caps don't agree with these assertions and even if the planet were no warming, it doesn't mean that we are no adversely and globally affecting the environment. There is tons of vital species at risk in the ocean that are being killed by plastic. There is trillions of tons of human-caused air pollutants that are being breathed in and rained down in the the eco-sysyem. There is human-made civilization forcing animals out of there natural habitats, killing them off. We are fucking up the balance on a huge scale. There is no point in history in which to compare it, because we don't have the data, to say we're not have a huge negative impact is stupid. So either way, we still have to make the changes.
