We have had several members contact us about not being able to use a built in mac camera inside the chat room. The chat uses standard Flash and is the same not matter what platform or operating system you use. So we have no idea why some members can access their cams from a mac, and some cannot. So we are asking anyone else out there who has figured out how to get their cam working to let us know here. Thanks.
Ours was not working either. After doing some research I decided to try to uninstall Google voice and video installer.
Open: Macintosh HD/Library/Application Support/Google/Google voice and video uninstaller
A popup will tell you to close all browsers.
Close browsers. Click OK.
Problem solved for us.
I would assume that it may be the same issue if you use other video chat applications that might interfere with isight.

Most such jams are due to conflicts in software be it PC or MAC. Sometimes even the order in which they were installed will make a difference. When a software package is installed it changes some shared files. It is a little difficult to take this one down to the MAC store so asking others here is a good first step. Hopefully someone on here also is a specialist in that platform and will be able to help with your problem. I do not support MAC so I can not be of help but wish you the best.
I guess the MAC ads lie after all and apple is never responsible for the problems. (Oh, and just so you know, I carry an IPhone) I am not trying to be mean and I am truly sorry for your troubles folks. As a professional in the PC world I am always amazed at MAC and their ads. They are a great machine in their own little world but when people attempt to use them for many things, just like the PC, they have just as many problems. Adobe and the rest all write their software for the PC first and test it last on the MAC Platform. And at 3 to 5 percent of the market, it is not going to change soon.

Hey ADMIN, you guys should consider a mobile version of the site. My iPad hates visiting Swingular.
We can access Swingular from my smart phone - doesn't that mean there is a mobile version? Or am I missing something?

We can too so I was wondering the same thing...we can do everything from our browser on our smartphone...
the issue on my was purely with Google and it video platform. I have a 2 Macs for home use and several PC's at work. I will take a Mac any day if given the choice. If there is an issue with a Mac they are typically very easy to fix as was mine with the isight camera.
As far as mobile versions go.....You can access Swingular from your phone but there isn't a phone specific version that is made just for a phone. The biggest difference that I am aware of is that a mobile version would fit the screen properly and would be more user friendly. I have no idea as to how easy, difficult or costly it would be to create one.
I imagine my phone would be carried in the front pocket and on vibrate though.

@TRIXIEE:
Nope. You can't access the chat at all and due to the fact that some users' photo aspect ratio is larger, you can't really scroll down in a floating window on a touch
