Your Primary Profile Photo is the first photo that you upload into your public photo album or any photo in your public photo album that is moved into the first position. This image is displayed on your profile page and anywhere else that you interact such as mail, forum postings, booty call, etc... It is even displayed in your personal web page and in external forum postings unless you turn those items off.
So this first image is like a first impression, it pretty much shows everyone else who you possibly are before they even think about making contact. Members with a photo have a better chance of getting contacted than those without.
Obviously, we have some rules as to what you can and can't post for your main image. They are visibly displayed on the photo upload page and with the new upgrades, you will be required to accept an agreement about posting pictures before you can upload. Those rules basically state that your primary photo MUST be of you and can contain nudity as long as it is tasteful. We have let slide a few of the sexual pics as long as they are not too graphic. We've also found a few members who have violated the rules and asked them to remove them before we took action. However, we can't catch them all and rely on you to report the violators.
So this brings us to some rules that we haven't enforced in a while. We noticed that we are getting a lot of these types and that is pictures that are not of the member such as cartoons, cars, landscapes, etc... Lately, they seem to be popping up and we think that it takes away from the sexiness of the site and that we should start enforcing them from being used.

Well, I'm against it. I like to change my pics with my mood. Although most times, my main pic is a recent pic of me, sometimes I like to use an older one, or maybe some nice artwork, or a cute ditty or icon. What about people that have old pics of themselves showing? How the heck you gonna enforce that? What about couples that only show the female part of the couple, shouldn't they both be showing? 
Privacy is a big issue for us as I am sure it is for others on this site. We have regular photos on our private directory but choose not to have photographs as our opening picture. I agree that explicit photos shouldnt be the opening photo but cannot see an issue with using something other than a photo as our primary. I suppose we could simply have no photo as our primary but dont see the point or how that would differ from using another image. To be honest I feel that our friends will recognise our landscape photo just as easily as they would recognise a headless body shot.

If privacy is an issue, you can post your bodies, blur your faces or anything else that doesn't have to show your identity. It's not a matter of showing who you are but rather what you may look like. There are plenty of ways to post a picture of you that you can get around not showing your identity. Landscapes say nothing about you really.

It may sound astonishing but it's getting quite a bit of attention with the same ideas being shared. Show pics of who you are! It is a swinger site but like all site there are rules. You read them and are now being informed of them. Comply or get lost. If the admin's feel like "wasting" their time they can or we all can help to alleviate the workload for them. They've done a great job with this site when compared to other ones. The members voice's are heard which is rare to non-existent.
