Getting bored today, and decided to google our username, and found
that all of the posts we have on the forum are available for anybody to see
without logging in. So I thought it may be because my computer may be logged in,
So I have access to many other computers, that never have been logged into
the site, and well....http://www.swingular.com/iforum.php from any
computer will let other people view the forum with pics ....Is there a way to
lock that up? Do a google search for Swingular Forum as well....

This has been discussed on more than one occassion. If you wish for your pictures and information to remain private, you shouldn't post it in a forum. The forum is open to the public as a means to market the site. If others see that there are people interacting, they are drawn in. If you want to use a forum and remain private, join or start a group like mine it's called FREE THINKERS.

I think a lot of people on here would be surprised to know that their Profile Picture is coming up on Google without any type of password, ours if pretty discrete, but others may have an issues, What about the thread about Yahoo Screen names, Maybe it should have a disclaimer for those that are not as educated in how the web works...

TR is correct. We utilize the forums to help spread Swingular out to the rest of the (swinger) world so they can find us. However, there are a few things we do not do. The only things anyone from outside without logging in can see is your username and posts. So it's best not to use a username that you use for any other purpose. Also, any images that are posted in the forums are blurred and highly reduced and huge red words typed over it so you cannot make out who anyone is or anything may actually be. For your main profile image, you can turn that off or on from being viewed by the outside world. Just go to SETTINGS -> ALL SETTINGS -> HIDE PROFILE ON LOGIN PAGE.
None of your photo album pics are ever exposed outside of the members areas and you have complete control of who views your private and custom photo albums.
So unless you are posting your full name, address or any personally identifiable information or unless someone else knows your username, you are pretty safe.

Being a commom forum poster, there are pages and pages of entries, each showing forum postings.
Images within a post were, in fact, modified to mar the image. The profile pics of the contributers on the page were not.

As I mentioned in the previous post, you can turn off your image from being viewed by the outside world by going to SETTINGS -> ALL SETTINGS -> HIDE PROFILE ON LOGIN PAGE.
