Swingers Forum - political discrimination

I enjoy the segregation that was created when political posts were given their own category. I do not believe being relegated to reduced access/visibility in the bowels of the site is very equal-rights-ish.

For one thing, labeling the category "Political" is an injustice since much more is delved into here. Additionally, if a new post doesn't show up on the front page, I'm guessing a very large number of people do not get a chance to see some interesting stuff (inadequate knowledge of the site/sidetracked/etc.).

As is always the case, political interest will dwindle because the presidential election process is over. However, we are in challenging times like none here have ever seen before. The very controversial President-elect is in the process of naming his cabinet and taking the reigns earlier than usual from a lame-duck president. I doubt there is a person on the site that has not been impacted by economic developments.

This is first and foremost a swinger site. I fully realize that. But given the current times, shouldn't site visitors at least be given front page access to ALL NEW posts? I assume one point of the forum is to encourage people to correspond?
But that is the problem, isn't it? After the major election, life goes on, the party is over. The problem is that people think "We have elected X as President. Life is good.". Problem is that there are 3 arms of the govt. People forget about the legislative arm and assume that the President they elected is an Emperor and can do everything that needs be done. Nobody even gives a thought about congress where a lot of the bills come from.
