We found out this morning that Mrs. had been downsized, effective this morning. Goodbye insurance, hello to the worst job market I've ever seen (and I'm quickly getting ancient so I've been somewhat familiar with them for awhile now).
I'm thankful that C won't have to go to work anymore at a place she had come to hate and a boss she disliked for multiple reasons.
I'm thankful that my mother (82) will be going home from the hospital tomorrow, just two weeks after a fall that shattered her right arm. So far, her recovery has been quite amazing (a nursing home had seemed much more likely than this).
I too, am grateful for fantastic family and friends (and now, their refrigerators).
The glass is still half-full.

We are thankful for Family and Friends that we dearly miss. Thankful that we will be returning to our home place in Utah. Thankful for being able to pay our bills . Thankful that I too got to quit a job that I grew to hate as well and no more bullshit from working with men that think they are all that. Thankful that I now get treated with the respect that I deserve. Happy Holidays and be safe for those traveling to Familys during the Holiday . Dandj
