I think that depends on the people and the circumstance. If the situation is one where it is a party...and things do not take off on their own the host and hostess have the responsibility to finger something out. If on the other hand it is a 2 couple party and it's the first time for these couples together.... Then maybe they should sit watch a movie have a drink and maybe talk about any limitations or boundries whether or not condoms are required .. and just plain confort zones.. Then maybe they can sit and watch some sexy movie with the gals in the middle, if they are bi, and the guys on the outside of the girls with the other guys wife on his side. Watch the movie and do what comes natural... Touching feeling shedding clothing and as I suggested ..... doing what comes natural....As things progress you simply gravitate to the bedroom/s or get busy right there.... If couples are not that interpersonally inclined.. there are games like strip poker, naked twister... where the person who lands in the same space as someone else has to remove a piece of clothing fromthemselves as well as the person in that space...
Hope this is a little help.. there are countless other ways to go about it but that's what I came up with quickly.... :v :! What's interesting about the lifestyle is that there are virtually no rules other than the "NO means NO"... Swinging is about fun and fantasy and almost anything goes where fantasy is concerned, so long as all parties are in agreement.
