Happy Veterans day.

To those that serve and to those who served in the past.

Just say THANKS!!!!!
thanks and same from me to all vets 101st southeast asia 1970-71
Add to that a thanks to all the wifes and husbands that kept and are keeping the home fires burning. Having been 22 - years in the military I can tell you the greatest hardship for me was after I retired and my daughter and her husband faced deployment to Iraq (she stayed and he has done two tours of duty). My mother (who lost her first husband to WWII) saw both myself and older brother go to war and I know she gave more than both of us combined to our country. With every newscast of a battle or story about a new hot spot in the world it's the military family that knows who will be called to duty. It is the wife, husband, father, mother, daughter, son, sister, brother each knowing in the back of his or her mind that it might be their special loved one that will have to pay the price for our freedom and yet they go on with unending support.

We do not have a National Holiday for the family of all our Vets, for those that carry on after the country gives him or her the folded flag, for those that go to school each day, have Christmas and birthdays without their father or mother knowing their loved one is doing his or her duty to country and the never ending fear of what could be . . We do not have a day for them so take the time every day to think of those "other" hero's doing their part and asking only for the safe return of their loved ones.

OH and you're welcome.

Military families are a very special breed of Americans thanks to them, those that serve have it a little easier.
This USAF retiree says Thank you!
From two proud vets we thank, from the bottom of our hearts, all those who have served and who are currently serving. A special thanks to our son who is in AIT right now.
