We were wondering about after parties at the Erotic Ball.
Thanks to everyone that put this party together. We had a great time and thought the party was awesome.
Well what can one say but WOW!

Loved the party-even with the little problems and snaffu's! Enjoyed running into old friends & making new one's.

Can't wait til the next one...
We were in the same boat as trixie. We arrived hungry with nothing to eat. It actually affected the whole evening. We ended up leaving early just to go get something to eat. Everybody in our group was sick by the time we finally traked something down at like 12 am. After that no body felt good enough to go back. As for the venue.. It was A beutiful view., but for us we missed the (for lack of a better word) closeness you get with A smaller club like vegas. We found it hard to find or talk to people with two diffrent floors and three rooms that everybody could be spread out in. Well enough of our gripes. On the up side there was alot of beautiful peeps there and we did meet some great new people. Just our two cents Haden and Amanda
What a joke of a party, there was no food like it said, so we had to order pizza. From the start it was so unorganized. Did not mind paying $5 for a beer we expect that at these kind of events, but they ran out of beer and a lot of other stuff. $40 to get in because i paid at the door and it was not worth $4! If you did not go you did not miss anything because it SUCKED. The only good part of the party was the people that came out to say hello and have a good time, everyone there was great and your costumes were fantastic. Last party we will go to for a long time.

C AND J.
Nothing else to say that hasn't been said, but we loved meeting new friends and seeing all the sexy costumes. The music was great and the dancing was hot and nasty.
So my input is great friends, great location, the rest had a lot to be desired. I agree with the no food. It is right on the web site, so all of our friends didn't eat expecting that there would be food there. We got there earlier than we had planned because Swingular said there would be food there.

Three bars for how many people??? That was poor planning at best, and to top it off to run out of drink at least an hour before the end of the party? My wife and I have been talking all morning and have been trying to figure out what the price of the ticket was for. I would imagine that the venue was expensive, so why wasn't this done at say Habits??? At least we could have ordered food there and we wouldn't have had to pay 30.00 for a view. The drinks aren't 7.00 a pop there either, they also don't run out.

I have already talked to a number of our friends and I have yet to talk to anyone who was happy about the party last night. We are hoping that last night was a mistake and this isn't the way that the large parties are going. Just wish that what was advertised would have been available.
Just want to say Thank You to ..
Swingular, Secret Desires, Unzipped Parties, Swingnfun and The Spice Party
for a really awesome party!
Great location! Great people!
As usual we had a really good time!
There were sooo many fun sexy people, fun sexy costumes and sooo many friends..
It was great to see everyone! ...
Everyone that we already know (some of whom we have not seen out and about for a while) and Everyone we had just met!
It is a difficult thing to organize such a big party! and impossible to not have a few quirks when so many people attend.. we want you to know that all the effort you put in to these events is appreciated. We enjoy every party we attend, no matter who has them.. and look forward to each one!

In response to the previous poster... Habits will not allow or even consider a private venue party.. Private venue parties have their advantages ;) Finding any location that will allow for privately reserved venue on a saturday night for parties such as those held last night is not an easy feat.. the cost of entry is very much a part of reserving such venues..

Thanks again.. cant wait for the next one!

Once again the party was horrible! Who plans these things??? Need help? Last time I said this I was scolded for saying such blaphemies. Im glad other people are stepping up and saying this as well, we got there around 10 and they were out of boose then. I felt like a fuckin 14 year old at a Jr High church dance. Nothin better than a sober party!!! People and the costumes were cool and that's it! Second chances usually pay off, except for OJ simpson, Adam "Pacman" Jones and these parties.
To Start thanks for the 4 that put on the party. I know you guys spent a lot of time. As for what was said was going to be there and then wasnt. WHY LIE? No food come on. People had to order there own Pizza. SAD So we paid 30$ for some trail mix. They ran out of alcohal. No rum at 10:30 by 11 they were running out of beer. At the prices they were charging everyone, hell they could have gone down and baught a dang liquor store. No ice sculpture to do shots, you could not even buy a shot. Were was all the great intertainment. Oh wait the strip show. There was better dancing in our room. Lets talk about the great price on the rooms that everyone was getting. You could have gotton one on there site for the same price. Then how many were THREATENDED by the hotel that they were getting ready to call the cops to kick us out. I thought they were setting a block of rooms aside for us all to hang out? NO they put us next to regular guest knowing what was going on. I know you cant control were they put us but it might be a thought for next time you throw an event. The bottom line here is there was a lot of stuff said to get people to come but then did'nt happen. I think i speek for most if you tell us something then do it. If not do not beef it up for sale of tickets. For those that came by the room we had a great time and look forward to seeing you again.
Unfortunately we could not make it to the party last night due to last minute family obligations, so maybe I shouldn't even be posting this, but I must say...after reading all these posts, we are still bummed that we couldn't make it. I think people take for granted that we even have such parties here in boring ol' Utah. We have been to several parties thrown by Swingular, Secret Desires and Unzipped, we are always amazed at the amount of effort they put into throwing parties. I hate to think about what the local lifestyle scene would be like without people like them. If everyone bashes the parties then what will motivate them to continue? I think we're quite spoiled here in Utah to have such parties that enable us to meet and mingle with so many like minded people. I'm sure there are glitches involved with all parties, but seriously, where else can we be surrounded by so many other lifestylers? We look forward to attending many more awesome parties thrown by these and other groups.
UTFUNCOUPLE111, we completely agree with what you are saying. All we are saying is there should be truth in advertising. A lot of people are feeling they were lied to and that is hard to take. The company that was there was great. If there had been no mention of food being there, I don't think anyone would have had an issue with what went on. Everyone would have eaten before they got there.
Your right you did not go to the party so dont put your 2 cents in about it. You were not there and did not see what was going on. I dont think its says anything about the other parties that have been thrown in these post. Which we would say have been pretty good. We are saying this party was full of lies.
WELL WELL WELL...
I am actually pretty happy that Chris and I didnt go. We changed our minds and un RSVPed. We didnt think it was going to be that great anyways.. Notice how everyone is saying that it wasnt that great and yet the ADMIN doesnt even have anything to say to defend themselves or say sorry for the FALSE ADVERTISEMENT!?! I dont know, all I can say is its a good thing we didnt waist our time or money.
We had a great time people are making to much out of nothing
Thanks to all of you for putting on another fun get together

It was a little unnerving that there was a party next to us that had little kids running around, but other than that I feel that the party was fun!

I loved all the awesome costumes that were worn & the fun everyone was having. Wish the photographer had hung around for a bit longer-didnt get my pic taken oh well there's always next time.

Thanks again to all who tried their best in planning this event-we always have hiccups!

First and foremost we'd like to thank everyone who attended. Also everyone who helped out with this event. We've hosted events in SLC and Las Vegas for years, we also work in the night club scenes and underground in Utah. And for all the bullshit and hoops everyone has to jump through to throw a party at a venue in Utah, this party was amazing. We were also involved in part of the planning for this event and we're very disappointed in how it turn out. There were so many deceptions and miscommunications on the part of the venue and hosts. It was unbelievable! Especially when the venue made close to $30,000 and hosts profited not a dime...... Well we have a list of gripes a mile long, and we also respect everyone's opinion. But without knowing all the facts I would think it would be a little difficult to make conclusion on who was to blame. With that said, if anyone thinks that they can throw a party that large in Utah at a venue,(Not a home) without issues, problems or being on the 6 o clock news. Please give it a try. We welcome the added nightlife. God knows we need it.

Unzipped Parties

That was a HUGE party! We had fun seeing so many friends and meeting some new ones! yeah it sucked that they ran out of alcohol........ they didnt expect to double what was expected on people attending..... bright side..... no one drove home wasted!
Food....... I'm sure once they found out what kind of party it was lol they didnt want to accomidate any of us! but after lots of excercise from dancing..... walking around..... and room hopping lol a dennys trip at 3:30 am wasnt so bad.
Thanks to the hosts for the effort and planning that went into the night....... its a learning experience for the next big one.
Yes not everyone was happy but alot of us made the best of it! Can't wait to see everyone at the next party!
XOXOX

p.s. Hey riderz......who's A&L lol love ya guys!! see ya soon
We had a great time, Had to rethink our previous comments. We ordered a Pizza for dinner, waited in the long lines for drinks, went to the event expecting $7 to be the price for a drink, was a bit shocked at 1 oz pours, but then all in all the lines saved us money. enjoyed the many many folks, met up with friends we had not seen an far too long.

I've never been to an event or conference that there have not been problems. And its always easier to sit back and critique the event after.

$30 dollars was great for such a venue, the venue was the reason we selected this party as we suspect so did many others.

Had a great time, would gladly pony up $30 for the next event, No question......

The Simples......
i just wanted to say thank you to all that organized this event. I think it was fun and had a great time.

AS for the other, well i use to help plan parties and cant please everyone and so dont try. Next off there is only so much the organizers can do when the owners dont hold there end of the bargain. That being said knowing many of the organizers myself I am sure they will be bringing up this with the management, owners whoever they need to to address these issues. Also with $30 a couple come on and be realistic, not going to get much more then finger food, especially when dealing with a large crowd like this. . I personally have not or do not go to any event expecting to be fed anything other then junk food. So that being said I ate before going always have and always do and will.

Dont forget that someone stole a prize too on top of it all so what better way to show thanks then that. Finally, seemed like the ultimate goal was accomplished. People met up, and plenty of after parties were held.

So I think while there is reason for diappointment, need to point out the possitive also. Great music, great costumes and lots of laughing was going on and in the end that is what matters.
We had alot of fun, enjoyed the costumes and sexy, fun people. It was nice to get out and meet new friends. Luckily, we started drinking early, and ate before we showed up. Was disappointed with the fact that several things that were advertised wasn't there. Not that big of deal, but was looking forward to the ice sculpture, entertainment with talents, etc. Still had a good time. Drinks were WAY overpriced. but for the amount to people there, problems will occur that can't be foreseen. anyway, we'd definately go again, except maybe without so much clothing :)
Thanks for the party, and the great costumes. We had a lot of fun, and we're glad we ate before we went. It would have been better if the things on the invite had happened, but as has been said before, things go wrong, and even with the problems at this party we look forward to the next one.
Lots of talk on here good and bad...but c'mon! What we really want to know is...

WHO WON THE CRUISE????

Mrs. Hottie
Thanks for the good time!! I hope you all got to meet the polygamy family!! THE FUNNIEST THING I'VE SEEN IN ALL MY LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well... we went to Utah all the way from ID to a GREAT PARTY!!! Yes, we felt the same way as everybody has said here in a lot of ways... but the truth be said, I agree that UT people are probably very spoiled and always have high expectations, no that it is a bad thing, but why focus on the bad things only? We didn't eat before the party either, but weren't expecting to be fed at all... ice sculptures, entertainment and all of those things that were advertized, sure, what a dissapointment we didn't get to see all of that, but people, in ID we had paid $30.00 to go to parties with no views, older people, horrible music, DJ sucks, chips and salsa, way chipper drinks and about a 100 to 200 people still go and EVERYONE HAS FUN... SO STOP COMPLAINING!!! As for the party next door, we weren't too happy about it either, but hey!, why is this the organizers fault? I mean, after all, they don't own the building, but if they did, I am sure the party still wouldn't have met people's expectations...
GREAT PARTY to the organizers, yes we felt dissapointed but we are humans and I guess it pays to be from a different culture, we are understanding (as I am sure a lot of people would feel the same way) and if it is the first party of it's kind as a fusion then we are sure the next one would be even greater... don't sweat it, keep up the good work and the hell with the people that don't wanna go to the next one... we met a lot of folks that would be there for sure. ;)
XoXo

I'm so sorry I drank all the booze before everyone else got their share... Hell I forgot there was to be food. Oh thats right, we ordered pizza. We had a blast, met some new friends, saw old friends, $30.00 was no big deal. Chuck-a-rama costs more than that for two people, and they have no view or sexy outfits to look upon, or a DJ that knows how to play great music. Great job for us Utttahannnns. Did somebody say they didn't like old people???? damn, lost another friend. Oh yeah. Sign us up for the next one.
L&L
whats up??? we went to the halloween party in west valley and had a friggin blast! plenty of beer and shots and cost 7 dollars for the beer and 1 dollar for shots and an awesome live band! great hosts as well!
Wow, loved so many groups cumming (sp?) together! Fantastic 360 Degree views (& looking out the windows wasn't too bad either!) THANKS HOSTS, for doing all the work so all I had to do was get dressed up, have a few drinks and flirt with everyone I saw! The elevators were a trip (and I've been to that building a gazillion times (swear to God Dre, THAT is a word!!).

Congratulations to the Fisherman & His "Catch of the Day" - bring us all a souvenir!
:D
I personally want to thank everyone who attended. My apologies go out to everyone for the problems that we ALL experienced. This was supposed to be a smooth party and was actually a last minute deal for us. When we were asked to be a part of this, we were in the midst of moving to San Diego and didn't plan on doing a Halloween Party. However, we were told it would be care free and we decided to work with everyone on putting together an amazing event. We all got together and had such wonderful ideas and decided to move forward with them.

The idea of doing a combined party on the 23rd floor sounded really good. Most of you don't know how hard it is to find a venue for these things. It's REALLY, REALLY hard. That's why you'll see a party one month and not the other. So finding a venue that will work with us was great.

Now understand, these ideas were based on what we were told by the management of the venue. Everything sounded good so we paid our deposit. From the beginning, we were told we could run our own cash bar, then after our deposit was made, that changed, and we were told we had to pay for the liquor license but they served the liquor. Bullshit! We then tell them whatever they normally get for 700 to 1000 people for liquor, to triple it. They didn't. It started off at one price with all these amenities and by the night of the party, it had all changed. We were told we were getting a small buffet of food for a $1000. We ended up getting pretzels for a $1000. That is basically how things went down. Our fee doubled overnight and we didn't get what we were told we were going to get.

Now understand, Kate and I were living in San Diego for the past month and flew into SLC for this party with the understanding that everything was the way it was supposed to be. We started finding out from the management all these things at the last minute. Stuck with no internet, no business checks or anything else, our smooth transaction became a nightmare. So we were basically stuck with what the management offered us and being the last minute, couldn't do anything about it.

So to all of you, I feel your frustration, I was upset all night. My fun weekend in Salt Lake was nothing but miserable.

Kudos to the rest of the hosts because we all went through the same thing and put our parties and reputations on the line only to have no control over our own party. After all the bullshit expenses they threw at us and making sure we paid off the help, we ended up losing money.

Lesson learned.

But I will tell you, I have never seen so many sexy people and amazing costumes in one place before and that made most of it all worth it. We just won't be using 23rd floor ever again.

Just understand that we didn't lie to you. We expected it to be a certain way and didn't receive that from the venue. We did our best on what we could work with and rode it out. If any of the other organizers decide to do another party, realize that they will not let anything like this happen again.

Thanks to everyone.
