I'm not a news junkie, but I do keep tabs on various TV, newspaper and online sources daily.
I am curious as to why I have not seen anyone call McCain out on his claim concerning Bin Laden. He made it sound like a done deal. He made it sound like he virtually had him in his back pocket already!
That sounds like a newsflash to me??? He knows something the administration doesn't? Do we have to wait for him to be elected before he shares the information? If he doesn't get elected, will we have to continue looking on our own? Where has he been the last 8 years, we could have used that kind of help a while ago?

"I'll get him, I know how to get him. I'll get him no matter what." Those were his exact words. I don't think he was claiming he has him in his 'back pocket', but I also think he's making bold claims he can't back-up. Both candidates have ideas regarding the war on terror. If McCain knew how to capture Bin Laden, he'd be assisting the current administration. If his methods were so plausable, we'd be crediting McCain with helping Bush capture Bin Laden. I am not "hearing what I want to hear". I am hearing what McCain is saying and it's bullshit. If he was so convincing, as you say, he wouldn't have lost the debate. Perhaps it's you that shouldn't be so eager to down the McCain Koolaid my friend.

I will not discount that he may have a good ideas, but that remains to be seen and blindly taking this man at his word, hardly seems like a wise choice to make.
