Ok, we would really like to join in on this proposed cruise however in pricing it we see that it will cost $1200 per couple more than the same "non lifestyle" cruise. What are your thoughts about paying so much extra just so you can fool around???
We noticed the same thing. And at a time when the leisure travel industry is in the dumps you'd think it'd be a bargain, no? No question, we're not paying it. We've never been on a cruise together and we'd love to do this one, not just because it's lifestyle related, those are good ports to visit. But we're not paying a premium to have sex on a boat.
yeah seems a bit excessive for a glorified meet and greet, that includes nude bathing.
I agree. To bypass an extra $1200 I'll have sex in my room.

HMMMM Maybe we should just all book a cruise and pick a room each night for a orgy LOL. Save the money go to Hedo.

Also don't forget that price dose not include drinks (alcohol or soft drinks), and any shore excursions that you do.
it is a shame because it would be a blast in theory. So who has an idea on how we could get a play place without the huge expense???
furthermore, you still have to buy a plane ticket to get to the port.
We're hosting beautiful couples weekends at 5 star bed and breakfast at Bear Lake, next one being Nov 7-9..and the booze is included in the price..lol
We have an album in Public albums , click on Couples Getaway, Email us if you want to get on the list

You know it's not even so much the cost ... you pay airfare to any cruise. It's the idea that you're being charged a premium for nude hottubbing, swimming, and designated play areas. Call me crazy but I would rather plan a regular cruise with 2 or 3 swinging friends. and designate our rooms as play areas. lol
Forget the cruise and rent a house in florida and go to a nude beach, in march there were over 5000 nude bathers on the beach.
hanover beach....
hanover beach....
maybe swingular could come up with something special for thier members. Not a cruise but maybe a hotel or something???
Kind of like the Halloween Ball but naughtier...

We agree with Tempted...
Were just going to plan a cruise with a few other couples...
We have been on several cruises, and that's def a premium price....

If anyone has ever been on a cruise. $1200.00 is not a bad price at all. and no matter what cruise you do go on you will still have to pay for your alcholol and soda. we think it's a very reasonable price . just our opinion...
1200 may not be a bad price.... But this cruise is STARTING at 1900 per couple.... ouch
We organized a group to Desire Los Cabos last April and will probably be organizing another group again in the spring. We can get a group rate with at least 10 couples, and can choose either Desire Los Cabo or Desire Cancun, or even Hedo II or Hedo III. These resorts include all food and alcoholic beverages. Email us if you are interested and we can give you more information.
Swingular is putting together another vacation package for it's members to either Hedo or Desire. We will post another forum topic about those who may be interested so we can get everything in order. Should be a great time!
As for the cruise pricing, it works for some and not for others. I think it's a great deal and to be on one ship with 2100 other lifestylers is worth it to me. We frequent Vegas quite often and pay more for rooms there (roughly $200 a night) and for liquor at the clubs in a week then the cost for 2 people on this cruise. Even places like San Diego and San Francisco cost more for 7 days. Add in the cost to visit a Swing Club in some cities, at $70 a couple, that amounts to about roughly $500 a week in comparison. So say what you will but this is a bargain to me.
As for airfare, you can find roundtrip deals to Tampa for $200.
We already have about 10 couples booked from our group and expect a whole lot more.

We are pretty big travelers ourselves and tend to frequent the Lifestyle Places like Hedo, Desires Cancun and Cabo.
Yes, you can go on a cruise for 500-600 per person (keep in mind this cost may be a quad cost, which means slamming FOUR people into a tiny little room) but on those types of vacations, you pretty much spend your time just hanging out with each other. Of course, there is nothing wrong with this type of vacation if you are looking for a nice romantic getaway.
IF you are looking for a FUN, lifestyle type vacation where you meet people and talk to people all day and all nightlong, you really need to vacation in a place where lifestylers hang out...and preferably during a TAKEOVER. This has nothing to do with paying a premium for nude sunbathing or a place to pay more JUST to have sex. This is a completely different vacation from any other you may have experienced in the past.
We have been to several TAKEOVERS at Hedo and at Desires where there have been between 75-150 LIFESTYLERS and they are SOOOO much FUN! We can't imagine what it will be like to go on a trip like this with over 2000 OPEN MINDED, non judgemental people.
When we go to Hedo or Desires we pay between 2-3K for the trip and we usually only go for 5 days. 2400 per couple sounds completely reasonable and we are definetely NOT going to miss this one!
Save your money...THIS is the way to vacation!

Hmmmm, lets see.......
Embarking on April 19 prices start at $669 each for an inside cabin, on the same ship and itinerary.

Embarking on April 26 (Lifestyle Takeover) prices start at $949 each for an inside cabin.

Embarking on May 3 prices start at $649 each for an inside cabin, on the same ship and itinerary.

Don't forget to add in airfare, bar tab on the ship, gratuities, plus any shore excursions.
That is approximately a $600 premium that is being paid on inside cabins alone. I'm sure it is going to make someone a lot of money.

You guys are really bitching about paying $2000 for two people for a 7 day lifestyle takeover cruise? I heard Utah people were cheap but come on. Let's break that down per day... $285... per couple... per day... We've been many places that aren't nearly as nice as being on a cruise with 2100 swingers and paid a lot more than that for just hotel rooms. Throw in car rental and food and you're out even more.
So what if you're paying $600 more than what they charge for a regular cruise... you don't have to worry about children and you're around people you can actually have fun with. Sounds like the extra money is worth it to me. And have you ever been on ANY vacation when you fly? Add in airfare, liquor, tips and gratuities as well. You're not getting those things free on most other vacations anyways.
Did you go to SwingFest? The rooms there were $300 a night! So if you can't afford this cruise, don't knock the people who put it together, we've been waiting for something like this for a long time and they deserve to make a bit of money off this because I'm sure it wasn't easy.
And you're probably the ones who bitch about there never being any events or parties for lifestylers, then when someone puts one together, you bitch about it because they make a dollar for their efforts.
We'll be on the cruise and we'll be glad to see those who aren't cheap on there with us.

HOTLOVIN,
Make all the accusations and assumptions you wish.
Fact is that I was not intending to appear to be "bitching" as you put it, but rather just noticing the profit margin on the cruise, and wishing that I had thought of it.

I understand that, I was directing more towards the general comments made here. I just want people to be aware of the actual costs involved in any trip and how that is really a bargain, so as to justify why your post about a $600 price difference is worth it.
We are down for the Hedo idea as long as it
Is Hedo II not III. As far as all the moaning
going on here over spending $2,000 for a one
week vacation for two that is crazy. Where on
earth can you go for a whole week for $2K ??
That would be the cheapest vacation we ever had!

Its the bang for the buck. This cruise line is of the cheaper variety. We have been on swinger cruises that were a blast, that offered cleaniness and excellent service.
