One of the biggest reasons why I won't be voting for McCain or any Republican for that matter. Their party puts the concern for the Christian Church and it's followers over the whole of this diverse people. Shit like this is the very reason Christianity, among many other religions, needs to take a flying fucking leap off the Earth.

The current Arab scare is highly reminiscent of the Communist scare of the late 40's and 50's. If you can find the right fear and know how to exploit it, then you can make any group hated by the populace. The Christians did that quite well during both the Crusades and the Inquisition.

just to chime in on church and laws. anytime there is a solid majority of anything ie. christians ,athiest, cannabls, bird watchers, etc. they will dictate the laws. some people seem upset at utah drinking laws,but you can get a drink. there are many counties in several states that are dry,you can't get a drink. and have been to other states where membership is reqd. and not to be topped learn what blue laws are then figure out the why of that. or a state that you must join a union in order to work, that seems real american too.

That was a copy and past email. and I do enjoy and have enjoyed all of your comments, replies. I like to hear everyones opinon. However I will put mine out there. I believe however, or whatever you call it, Obama is and will be real bad for America.. I am not sure McCain will be any better but I do know Obama WILL NOT get my vote. That's not how the Constitution works. The majority can't overrule the 1st Amendment. 2/3's Majority of States (ratification) is the only thing that can do that. Any law that is made for moral reasons is unconstitutional. Ethics on the other hand... That's a different matter. That is why "Sanctity of Marriage" laws are unconstitutional.

God forbid you should get teary eyed when a group of strangers get together for a ball game and in unison sing god bless America or the national anthem, Or get all choked up when we see a soldier coming off a plane from Iraq. Or a picture of a soldier on one knee praying for a fallen comrade. We no longer accept our god as the director of freedom. Our freedom has come from him, and is mocked at every turn.
