If we were to meet someone at one of the clubs that we belong to, and became friends we might travel farther/further. If one believes that to travel a greater distance than would be practicle for friendship then that distance would set the limit. On the other hand, if a couple is out strictly for the sexual encounter and has no expectation or wish for friendship then maybe a stop over in a city on the other side of the country might not be out of the question...

Although we make it a point to answer each and every message sent to us, even kisses, we have found that there is little sense in attempting to pursue possible play partners who are beyond an hour's drive. Regular communications with new friends is great, but when there is little chance of a meeting, we've found that we end up getting dropped.
I personally think traveling is no big deal. I live in central florida and find that most of the people I meet are far away, I'd rather travel and meet friends than not travel and not meet anyone at all.

We are only able to get out of the house to play maybe once a month due to babysitter issues, so when we do we try to take advantage.
We have been known to travel up to 100 miles to meet people who we were interested in, however it is awefully inconvenient when we have to get up early and drive all the way back home and deal with kids after being out all night. (I'm sure that some of you out there can relate).
As a general rule, we try to confine our playtime to Colette's in New Orleans which is about 30 miles away. This is perfect for us since it is just far enough away so that everyone in your neighborhood doesn't know your business and just close enough to be convenient.

Well as to how far would we travel to meet someone, .... well lets see we live in Idaho and have traveled as far as Arizona to meet this great couple. We have become great friends, we chat, flirt and play diff sorts of games (video and other games) online together me (Mr. Air) and his wife, he and my wife me n him and our wives, as well as all four of us together. I have video chatted with his wife on more than one occasion and we really enjoyed ourselves 
and can't wait untill our next trip to Az. to further explore the posabilties. Since the friendship was the first and formost part of our getting to meet we havent taken the next step in the lifestyle other than online, but enjoy the time we do spend together and look forward to the next get together we do have, and who knows, maybe it will venture into the bedroom, if it doesn't no big deal. We\'re pretty much in teh same boat as BILLYANDSHAE. With kids its extremly hard for us to be able to get out and play so we are lucky if we can get out to play once a month. But compounding the problem there seems to be a dearth of reliable baby sitters that we can trust or that can stay out that late. So we are forced to rely on family. Now some times we can send the kids to grandma\'s and grandpa\'s to spend the night. But more often than not its a case of grandma coming to our place to babysit. So we generally like to be home by 1 or 2am (my mom is accomodating, but we feel guilty coming home that late). So our range is limited. We ususally like to play within 25 or so miles of our house. This of course restricts us but what choice do we have. Hopefully in the next few years we wont be so limited and can start to travel and get out more often.
We have driven about three hours for meet with a couple but prefer to met folks within a short driving distance. Then you can get with them more often. :-)
We normally stay pretty close to home with the exception of one maybe two snowski/swingtrips in a season family commitments prevents us from being able to travel much more than a hour. Now, when we were working jobs in europe and was basically kid free then is was nothing for us to travel 3 or 4 hrs to go a swing club but today its different story grandchild in our life keeps us close to home.

How far would we travel to meet? We travel often now between Ohio & SC. that\'s a travel distance of 6 hours, so traveling for us isn\'t much of a problem. but we would prefer to meet local people ourselves. But would travel for the right couple or fem. We never traveled much until moving to Ohio, now we have the Opportunity to travel some. We do have little ones, so that does play a part in our travels.

Well, as I posted on this before, we finally get to go to Az again, and spending the night at our friends before we head off to Vegas. So if everything works out I\'ll post a few pics of our adventure either here or on our profile.

We live in the Washington DC Baltimore area. In fact, we are equal distant from both cities. It makes no difference whether you are going north to B\'More, or south to the District. Traffic on both beltways is incredible.
Here is an example: According to Rand McNally, Alexandria Virginia is 29 miles from Laurel, MD. Thats 29 miles down 295 to the beltway (495) and then on to 95 in DC traffic accross the river to Virginia. Seems easy right?
Translation? 1 1/2 hours if you are lucky. Assuming that there are no accidents, lane closures, or other assorted reasons to slow you down. Hell, if you live near Andrews AFB, Air Forice One can cause all kinds of grief when it lands!

We have to agree with PASCOLOLCPL we too have little ones and getting a sitter can be hard sometimes. We too rely on the grandparents but feel guilty if we ask too often. Especially since they have jobs that have them working weekends so sometimes we don\'t even want to ask since its there weekend off.

Traveling ?? Yes we will travel and have. Some of our best times have been out of state. We have met some great couples that we really click with and enjoy their company. That is not to say we haven\'t met great people close by. We just don\'t let a state line be the end of fun. We like to have close by friends because it makes getting together a bit easier. Just don\'t count em out if they live a ways away...
On a regular basis we travel 1 to 1.5 hours to a club social.. We have trabeled 2+ hours to meet someone at their house and with no expectations to play.... If we knew/know these people and we are going to play two to three hours might be OK. If this is a first meet we try to find a place that is neutral and non committal like a food court in a mall whee we can relax, talk and see how we all interact. Maybe we\'ll meet at a club.. and always the option is open to play now but rarely does that option come to bare....
