I recently came across some Yahoo groups where Christians who are swingers post talking about their activities. Some of these share their wives and others are into other things like B&D.
Anyone here a Christian swinger? I would like to hear comments from anyone who wants to put in their two cents worth.

I am an Atheist myself. However, I have seen lot's of people here that are Christians and also swingers. I personally think they can go hand-in-hand. It's not anyone's place to judge. This is why... There are plenty of people (all men) who "Covet thy neighbors wife" and both men and women commit adultry. Both of which are a "sins", according to the teachings within the bible. There are also intolerant fucks who judge others despite the teachings of Jesus etc. These hypocrites are just as guilty of sin, but consider themselves christians. Why can't a swinger be a christian???
So.... I say, that a christian is no more perfect than the next person. They're all aspiring to be godly, but all of them sin. According to bible (no matter how absurd it is), lust and sex, outside your marriage, is evil. It's among all manner-o-sin outlined in the book-o-don't (bible). So, since no one is perfect and all of us sin to some degree, why is this even an issue?
I would say to all those hypocrites, "Unless you are perfect, you can jam your judgments up the posterior end of your alimentary canal." As a great man once said... "Fuck Those Fuckin' Fuckers!"

What the fuck does religion have to do with swinging?
I challenge you to show me one widely accepted, modern, religion that condones "swinging".

DREW.. isnt polygamy a form of swinging? OOOHHH... wait... they are all wives of one man, guess thats not really swinging. No one is swapping wives, (as far as we know).
On a more serious note. Religion, (regardless of what name you give it, ie: jews, mormons, catholics, whatever), is your belief in a supreme being. How you believe is personal. Although we may not follow the rules of our church, who's right is it to determine wheither we are christian or not? Any true believer in any religion knows that every great religious leader had emphisized over and over... its not ours to judge.. thats up to the supreme being you follow. We know alot of wonderful people who are wayward according to their church, but exhibit more respectable behavior than some of those people who claim to be so strict in their obediance to their church rules.
A wise man once said.. there are three things never to discuss ... Politics, religion, and sex. So when do we start the forum on the Presidential race?

CYN,
That's why I said "show me one widely accepted, modern, religion that condones "swinging". "
In my opinion, the FLDS is not a widely accepted religion, I do however agree with everything else.

when it comes down to swinging its more of a cultural prefrence and it can spiritual within it's self in some ways . But I agree with most of the forum we all have a personal belief but only you can say what you believe to be acceptable by your belif and not . I 've learned to do what i want and fuck anyone who chooses to juge because it's are life they don't have to live it besides you can go left ,right , up,or down there will always be some one to disagree with your disicion .So in short your damned if you do miserable if you don't . fuck acceptance you only live once.
By the most basic definition, being a Christian simply means you believe that Christ was the son of God. After that it's all doctrinal squabbling. And at that point all you need is positive outlook, and the general idea that being kind, tolerant, and honest are positive things we all should do, and you've got the makings for a perfect Christian swinger.
As far as any such sect being widely accepted, the LDS Church is one of the largest, most famous in the world, and it just so happens that a significant number of people still refer to it as a cult, and think that Utah still has polygamy. Misconceptions abound in any faith-structure.
And, at risk of beating a dead horse, (which is a vile and ineffective practice) a joint study by grad students at Princeton and Dartmouth found that 28% of interviewees didn't relate to, or only related a little to their Christian denomination. Now it was a sampling of the population, but given the number of Christians in America, 28% can translate into hundreds of thousands, to millions of Christians out there who don't relate well to their denomination, and can practice their own form of spirituality.
But I wax verbose, and slightly British. God bless the Swingers.
