I must say we have been thinking about you all in N FL. Again Tampa makes it with pure luck wheeew! But it isn't looking too good for anyone Florida because Fay has made a uturn and shes not leaving Florida. Wow this outta be interesting how many times FL gets screwed by one hurricane. We have only been here for a month, we moved from Utah so I have never been in any hurricanes or tropical storms. I was really freaked out when I got a phone call from my sister-in-law asking me if I heard about the Hurricane comming. Welcome to Florida huh?

Fay isn't a hurricane, it's a tropical storm.
For us, Fay turned out to be mostly a rain event. We moved here the year AFTER the year from hell in FL, so we haven't had any problems yet.
By the way, if there are any Floridians out there who will be in the past of any approaching storms, and need to evac, let us know. Maybe you could come up here and we could have a "Hurricane Foursome".

Well.....Fay is gone now..though we still get residual bands of rain and wind. She was very wet and had incredible stamina...lol.....
