I was trying to customize my profile like i do my myspace page. I know it is possible I have seen some profiles on here that have done that.
Every time i go to update I get an error message that says:
403 Forbidden
Access to this resource on the server is denied! Powered By LiteSpeed Web Server
Lite Speed Technologies is not responsible for administration and contents of this web site!
What am I doing wrong?

i get the same message and i have asked other how to edit it and they just tell me to do it like i do my myspace page.. so i dont know either. =[
Just wait for admin to fix a few things and I'm sure he'll post something about it. There was something screwy with the page's coding yesterday and I wouldn't be surprised if it extended to editing your profile.
We have disabled that feature temporarily because we found out that someone could include code that could harm another users computer when they view their profile. We will have this fixed in the upgrades and it will actually be a lot easier for you to implement as it will be more of a pick and choose type system. For instance, you can pick your background, or upload one. You can select from a list of colors for your borders as well as size and type. You can choose different fonts and sizes. And so on and so on. It will be very user friendly.

Ok reaaaaaly old post but only one I could find touching on this topic. I have been looking for the ability to do any of the above mentioned "features" and aside from themes haven't been able to find any ability to modify our page past the normal Arial font standard. Not having to go as far as a myspace/facebook manipulation but a basic HTML editor would be fantastic!!. Add some personality to our individual pages.
We removed this feature because it was being abused. Members were creating some pretty outrageous profiles that became unreadable. It took away from the classiness of the site. We felt it was in the best interest of the site if everyone had a common, easy to read, profile.
