Now that we have sites/etc. on our 'puter that we would prefer not be seen by just anyone -- where do we techno-challenged people go for help?
What is it you are wanting to do?
Well if you are worried about other seeing things Practice safe surfing, Do a Google search for anonomus browsing, or use a portable browser on a usb Drive - like : portableapps.com and then have it clear history every time you close it. it doesnt leave any thing on the pc and you can keep a thumb drive hidden and use it any where... I keep all my Site info in a word doc and use the portable apps with some extra tweeks and no one knows my password to the doccuments and so I dont have to worry... our kids are on our pc way to much to have that out there for them..
So there are alot of online things you can read and find with searches and the right questions, I love a site called www.lifehacker.com it gives some good ideas and links and things and can be understood by most people with very little computer or technical experiance...
I hope that helps and gives you some good info to start... I have to say most people are not technical or super computer savy so you are not alone.. lol But have fun and enjoy...

Depends on what you need done. My husband and I are tech nerds. My husbands just short of his bachelors in IT. We both certified to do tech support a while ago.
Good to hear that some of us are actually reading things and some people are excelling in the Tech support area... I know of a co worker who is on here and he and I have been doing tech support for years... lol I my self have worked for emachines, MSN, Microsoft, and a few other companies and ran a computer repair company for a while... and I know how intimidating computers are for most people so I like to help them help them selves and I like to inform people so they can get more knowledge of things...
and sensitive things like 'lifestyle ' things people kinda keep to them selves.. lol but hey we all needed some guidance at one point...
So have a Great day and enjoy life...
