Swingers Forum - Ken and fucking Barbie

Hi,

Dale here. Been cruising this and other sites now for about six months. While the search has been relatively fruitless thusfar, it certainly is enjoyable research .

The personal rant/pet peeve/what-haveyou is the pervasive use of the "Barbie and Ken" phrase. Now we all know that the Barbie and Ken in question are dolls that are used as a symbol of perfection (are you still with me?).

I would like to implore everyone to boycott the use of KEN AND FUCKING BARBIE when "we aren't perfect!" will do just fine and actually shows a little humbleness instead of "Hey all you out there! - we dont look like GreekfuckingGods" - well no shit! the few out there that actually approach Greekgods in appearance are plenty happy to show themselves!

I so third that notion, I know I live in an area where it seems there are more of the "Greek Gods" than in some areas and I know I would love to play and explore, but I love curves and substance in my women more and to me those type are more for eye candy because they are a little hard to keep happy. I know I have dated and been with several of them in my years as a Bouncer it seemed I was also a Great "pet"... Now days I love to meet all people and I dont want to step on any toes of those people who fall into "Greek Gods" catagory I just prefer the rest of us normal people who have the bodies who seem to feel comfortable just being our selves....

But those who are of the "Greek Gods" stature thank you for being perfect it does create great fantasies and those whom i have met on here have actually been very nice and enjoyable...

"PEOPLE WILL BE PEOPLE," it is because of the bad ( bad meaning good) bodies out there that most people find confort in their bodies just being normal, most of the so called greek gods and godesses struggle with keeping up with the next sexiest person to come along. Not sure if they are meeting the new standards of sexy like: big breast are good not small ones , if big butts are in or out, and is being to skinny ugly now a days . I thank GOD and THE GOOD SPIRITS of nature for making women in all different shapes and sizes, because I am a fuck'em all type of guy( I mean that in the sexual sense).


We can't be responsible for other people's children. I just finished a training class; a kid no more than eighteen or so constantly shouted during class,"I hate fat chicks," without any regard or regret for the insult to women in the area (not to say that they are fat). You and I both know that the skinniest women will call herself fat ( truely she does need some, fat that is) and be about 98lbs soaking wet. Peoeple will be people and we can't be responsible for everyone's ignorance nor can we change them to see our piont of veiw.


I believe hope, tolerance, and education are the clouds we can use to rise above all stupidity. Let's all hope this thread will be the first in a long line of threads to educate the ignorant.

I hope that people understand that I think of all people as people and dont stereo type , or at least try not to and we both just love meeting cool people and open minded people period not matter of how any one looks ....

Sorry if any one took offense and I hope no one did... I just know a few people have responded that they placed them selves above others and that some one like us doesnt meet their standards so I ranted my two cents but looking back at wording and such I just wanted to appoligise and say that we should never scorn any other for any thing.

Wildandcrazy there is nothing wrong with Ken and Barbie at all, especially after seeing that picture. It gives me flashbacks to this past Friday night.

What is wrong with the "Ken and Barbie" type? We like the Ken and Barbie type, and respect that they work so hard to stay in shape. Keep it up all you SEXY People.

Just perhaps a lot of the people who think they are ken and barbies do so because of the plastic they have added to themselves!! Now I am not talking about all but perhaps some.

I'm sure there are a lot of couples who fit the "Mr. and Mrs. Potato head" stereotype. Please don't neglect them. As you know, their parts are interchangeable, unlike Ken and Barbie...

I (the hubby) found this thread interesting and wanted to make one other point.
As with pretty much everyone, I agree that the personality of an individual/couple is the most important quality they have.
That being said, I have found that many times when an individual/couple does have the "Barbie & Ken" look there are judgements made about their personalities before people really get to know them.

Our experience with those who have had the "Barbie/Ken look, is that they have been extremely friendly, nice and from our experience non-judgemental.

(I know this wasn't really the theme of the thread but since it started heading this way I just went with it! lol)

Hey... everybody who talks about people working hard to stay in shape... well I work very hard at mine as well! After all ROUND is a shape isn't it

Actually I have to agree that people should go beyond looks and get to know peoples personalities. You never know how you might get along, but of course you will never find out if you don't try. This is a fantasy thing for some people, and for those who are in it for looks only are missing out on some really wonderful people out there. This isn't just about sex, but is a great way to meet new people. Sex is just an added bonus!

While we are talking about phrases that piss you off, what other phrases are we to avoid lest we piss you off again? Come on, it is just a phrase. If I use the phrase "pot calling the kettle black", are you going to get on the soap box and tell me that I am looking down on black people? How about "bald faced lie"? Is it looking down on bald people?

Many people, (us included) don't want to work out and keep our bodies looking like someone in a fitness magazine. Well, that is the choice we made. I'd like to look like Arnold S did in his prime but I don't want to put in the effort. Well, sucks to be me then. Grow a thicker skin.

DISCLAIMER: I didn’t necessarily intend to post again – this thread is really humming along fine on its own. But, I felt compelled to try to make a clarification. The disclaimer is, that for those of you that didn’t care for what you thought I was saying the first time, its quite likely you’ll fare no better this time – so please stop reading here and save us both some time.

Now then, I wrote the damn rant in the first place. Being of relatively sound mind and relatively sound body I believe I am best qualified to know what the rant was about! Actually, it wasn’t really a rant but rather a several minute pause to scratch a quite minor itch.

I signed myself “an ambassador for improved communications” (all small letters cuz I was self-appointed  ). The only point I wanted to get across was that I found it tiresome that three particular words had come to represent so much and, yet, really so little.

When a sub-community relies on catch phrases too heavily, they usually become nothing more than a cliché and of very little communicative value – in my most humble opinion .

All of this is just my humble opinion by the way.

This thread has been interesting to me and apparently quite a few others – Note:

In 36 hours in the LS Talk forum section this post has generated roughly 1500 views and 30 replies. Scrolling backwards, the next post to have more views required 15 days to accumulate over 2400 views yet only 23 replies.

In the Just Talk section it took Garnet 5 days to generate 4190 or so views and 51 replies.

In LS Questions – Holy Crap! As Frank Barone would say - in just OVER 30 hours, Anal Sex commanded close to 6500 views and 54 responses (sounds to me like most people have their head up their butt – butt I digress….

My point being, I vented on a minor annoyance (sorry! CHECKTHISOUT84101). Truthfully, I don’t really give a shit what ya’ll call ya’ll! But, I do think this points out that, on profiles that behoove us to explain ourselves, we can bequite lacking. “Kent-and whats-her-fucking-name” doesn’t really reveal much. And I’m betting there are more than a few people who will at least pause to think before future utilization of the phrase, thus making this all worthwhile 

A couple of by-the-ways:

- I consider myself to be pretty average, near as I can tell
- I love to look at Kent-and-whats-her-fucking-name (KAWHFN) types
- I would never approach kawhfns, expressing interest in them
- I would not want to be a kawhfn – gotta be kinda like having a fucking spotlight on ya all the time
