Ok, since threads seem to be a hot topic ........... what constitutes a thread killer?
I recently posted on the "screaming" thread (one of the better ones I've read recently) and other than one sympathy post from a secret admirer, it appears I was able to assasinate the darn thing - sorry! I shall renew my tongue-biting tendencies.
My question though - what constitutes a good thread-killer? This would be useful info for those of us afflicted
Unfortunately, I suppose by self-definition, I just killed my own thread. Oh well.

CHREK2, we aren't sure what would constitute as a thread killer. We suggest you keep posting anyway because we enjoy your posts and contribution. ;-) Have a great day all.

I agree with J3109.
WE are the ultimate thread killers.... all we have to do is just add our comments to any thread and it dies immediately. Just watch what happens to this one now.
One of the beautiful things about a so-called "killed" thread, is that it can be resurrected at anytime simply by retrieving it from the archives.

I think the only sure "thread-killer" is to have it deleted either by the originator, or by Administrator himself. Otherwise, they simply get bumped down into the abyss of forgotten threads.
Either way...keep up your posts, and remember, it's an "open" forum, so there's bound to be kill-joys on every thread.

I rest my case. soon as (we) added our comment.. the thread died... hence.. we are thread killers. Had Thoughtgarden not brought it back from the dead.. we would have remained... THE END. The moral being... if you dont like a thread.. dont bash the people who post in the forum.. just drop us note you want it dead and we will post our comment. It will be sure to drop quietly into the archieves. Much like our sex life. (MUAH)

Cyn and Hym...I hardly believe anyone on this site considers you two "threadkillers"..us included.

CynandHim we totally understand what you are saying. Whenever we respond to a forum discussion the thread dies too. Oh well such is life. I never noticed it before until now.
