I guess the questiion (or answer) maybe one of many or some of the following:
Did you come here just seeking sexual pleasures?
Where you seeking friendships?
Is it just curiousity?
Was it because you dont want to pay for porn and this seemed like a good way to get it?
To answer my own question, we joined and came here for a combination of reasons....
We where and still are seeking friendships with other couples who are liberal in their thinking and lifestyle without loosing a somewhat discrete and professional attitude in this ultra conservative area. We want to enjoy the company of people who can have fun in a variety of ways and yet not go so far over the edge as to draw local media attention. Combine that with the thrill of sexual encounters and the opprotunity to express and enjoy physical contact in ways that are satisfying and erotic. I would be lying if I tried to say that we dont enjoy being naughty based on societies standards, and perhaps thats what makes it even more fun... yet in order to protect our jobs and our families, we have to enjoy it in an underground manner. FInding good people who have similar attitudes and desires is difficult without a place like this. We have loved and realished the friendships we have made here and hope to make many many more.

Why not. You only live once. If I was to say that we were here for any one, or few reasons, I would be lying. I have the exploratory attitude. Jenny does to in her own way, but I am generally the one that explores more of the venues that it has to offer as I love to learn all I can about every aspect I can. This is a very good question to ask. We originally joined to meet others that care about making a friendship first and enjoying the playtime once we feel comfortable with each other. We were on a few sites when we joined and found that some only join one site so we thought there might be different people on here that are still in Florida or back up north where we visit from time to time.
What we got unexpectedly from this site is a lot of information about the lifestyle from the forums. We wanted to go to a "Wild" party, did a search for parties found the Mardi Gras party and joined to find out more about it. We had no desire to get to know any of the perverts and freeks that were on the sight.
However before long we realized we were the real perverts and freeks, and everyone else seemed normal. Since that realization we have gotten to knwo so many great folks and some very dear frineds that we hope will last a lifetime.

We were on another site and there just was not many locals. When somebody mentioned swingular to us.. we were excited to see the wide variety of like-minded folks! I think we will be here forever....although..the ROOKIES name..just isnt accurate anymore..may have to work on that one.

We joined as a way to ease me(the male) into the lifestyle as she has been active with a prior boyfriend. She was very open to her past with the lifestyle and it very much intriged me. Well we were at a meet and greet party at Good Spirits in murray . We had been invited by someone from a different site. I found Swingular on a net search. Until then we had been kind of free floating, hit or miss. We have a female friend who really really wants her first bi experience. I think like most people we joined to find like minded friends that are looking to meet people that enjoy haveing sex with others.
