Swingers Forum - Personal Swinging Evolution

Previous Post Next Post
Back from vacation and the resultant pondering, it occurred that it would be interesting for us newer folks to hear how the veteran's activities have evolved (if at all). In other words:

Obviously everyone had to have a first time. Whether it was mfm, or fmf, mfmf, etc. How many have stuck to the format ever since? progressed to one or two additional formations? once the barn door was opened, all the critters escaped? did increased experimentation prove rewarding? sampled everything and settled into one venue that proved most comfortable? never would have believed how rewarding sheep could be? - juusst kidding! :)

I could concoct more questions, but hopefully you get the idea. On a side note, I still haven't found a good answer to this question? Is there any reason to take anyone seriously who hasn't updated their profile in over a year? I know darn well that things happen and people change due to life experiences in that amount of time (I'm not referring to those whose profile hardly says anything - no interest there anyway).

Sincerely and fresh back from Memphis in May,

CHRKE2
We always keep ourselves open to new experiences and never try to obligate or force our swinging experience to look a certain way.

No expectations.

Except of course, that no matter what it looks like, we have fun and it is an enrichening experience for the both of us and our relationship.

Now...does it look like anything like we thought it would?

No.

But that is part of the intrigue, and it keeps things somewhat unpredictable and fresh.

Probably the biggest reward and unforseen result of our choice to swing is the incredible friendships that we have found and been able to develop with those that we associate with.

This would include playing and non-playing partners.

We especially relish those close friendships with special key couples that are close to our hearts (they know who they are), and in fact consider them family. We could not even imagine what our lives would look like now without having them be a part of it.

Like anything else in life, we go through cycles of interest or disinterest...things that turn us on or turn us off, activities enjoyed today may become dull tomorrow, either way...we never attempt to compartmentalize our experience.

We simply "go with the flow".

It's much simpler and rewarding that way.

:)
