I have been here for like 4 days, and I was excited to see a chat program. But so far every day when I try to load the chat, I receive a message stating that the chat program is down for maintenance or upgrading. What gives? Has the chat program ever worked or is it something that is being developed?:z
It worked previously but we are upgrading it to a new java based version. Our developer is adding the finishing touches and then it will be ready for everyone to enjoy. We expect it no later than wednesday.
We can hardly wait until Wednesday. It looks like there are quite a few fun folks to chat with here. All we need is the means. Chat programs have been less than satisfactory on other sites we have been members of. Here's hoping for better times ahead

Of course, can't be there all the time and others surely have been there, but it's just not a hopping place, yet. Maybe if the administrator would announce the grand chat opening on the homepage or something? Just a thought

We don't know what the membership requirements are for using chat. All we know is, like you, we can hardly find anyone else there. Of course, if no one is there, there won't be any other rooms available since you are in the only room
We check the chat room everyday, and like the others that posted on here we are the ponly ones that are in there.
Maybe there should be an announcment on the home page about the chat room and maybe more people will check it out.

I have a suggestion since we also check it and we are the only ones there. How about if we check schedules etc and try to make a time where everyone who wants to chat can. There are several we wouldn't mind just chatting with.

How about emailing someone you want to chat with and arranging for a time? Most members check their mail if there is a new message waiting, then you can coordinate the chatting.
Actually had a nice chat session with the administrator and another couple last night. It was fun. It seems that the person who was writing the custom program for us bailed out so we are using a stock chat program for now. Not very flexible in adding or modifying features, but functional in chatting. Everyone please give it a try. It really does work.

All we can say is that we're glad these great forums are available. Seems like just about everyone must be allergic to the chat room. It is hard to find anyone there besides ourselves
We have yet to see anyone but us in the chat room.
We been in the chat room quite a few times and tryed chatting with people but havent really got any response from anyone. Other then the ones who wantta see more then just chatting, i understand thats what this room is for is looking at other people, but the ones who dont have cams it hard to get any response from anyone in that room. We love the chat feature-but wonder what the number of users in the chat room means. Seems to be on 35 users often in chat room, but when we go in their during day-only one or two present. we try the couples room too-and we are often the only ones there-chatting with ourselves.
