Swingers Forum - Email from administrator....

Are we the only ones that get sick of the emails from the adminstrator telling us about all of the newest "specials"? Doesn't anyone think they should post that somewhere other than our email?
We agree with you 100%. It's a pain in the ass to get an email notification that there's swingular mail waiting, then find out that it's just self-promotion crap or minor maintenance issues.

Every time we visit is another reminder that this place isn't working for us.
We fully agrea! Today again 3 mails in our swingular mailbox from the administrator!
We fully agree. Our E mail is no place for the administrator to post new events. We can read them on the board if we are interested.

Lets not get too picky now... what site doesn't the administrators post in the mail system???
Those email posts are easy enough to delete... besides I don't mind getting news of new or improved benifites to the members... Takes less time reading thru them than the home page....
Email Announcements is a very important deal for ANY website to function properly and successfully. The truth of the matter is, most members do not know where to find updates or news and email is the only way you can successfully communicate to your members.

But, we do understand that some may not want to get these emails so we've implemented an option for you to stop them. If you go to the SETTINGS tab, you'll find Email Notifications. You can turn off ANNOUNCEMENTS from there.

Please be aware though that if you choose to turn this setting off, you will miss out on important information regarding the site that may be beneficial to you.
Dosnt bother us at all we read them then hit the delete button, would rather see emails from real couples in our area that want to play tired of all the fake people out there.
They send emails about that to everyone but when a member emails them about site they never reply...Not even a month later..
We have been trying to get validated by webcam but it appears that we are never able to connect with anyone either on the Yahoo site or through our emails here. We have been honestly trying for just about 3 weeks now.

How can we get this done? What if any options are available since emails and IM's from our YahooMessenger account don't seem to yield a response?

We want to meet people but they would like to concentrate on someone who has been validated. We can get validated by a validated member, but they want to meet OTHER validated members. We want to get validated by webcam (when we have a working one) but the process does not seem to work as expected. Now what?:@
Sorry...I can't agree with this.

Admin mail is a small price to pay for the site, and I don't think Admin abuses it all that much.

There are MUCH worse out there.

Admin email is great... most people have never even SEEN the forums.
It lets us know about the new things and features. Not nearly as bad as other sites too. The only annoying one is for the lifetime membership. And if people get so annoyed by it why not have it be sent as an announcement instead of an email. Like a seperate folder in our mailbox for announcements. Right now on my screen it says
| 0 new message(s) | 334 members online | 4 friends online | 0 new comments |

Why not make it so it says

| 0 new message(s) | 200 New Kisses | 0 New annoncements | 334 members online | 4 friends online | 0 new comments |
That way people know more what kind of emails they are getting so it doesn't get peoples hopes up.
It should also be made so when you add someone to your friends list or blow them a kiss if you can add a person Hello or something with it. I don't even know if we really NEED the blow a kiss anymore now that we have member comments.
We read our e-mail first ,so any news about the site or what they have added to the site will be seen and then they have given us all the one thing that allows any of the members to do (DELETE) So WE have to say YES it's more likely to be read by All when sent to your mailbox then in this forum that not all of us read
EMail messages from Admin are a great way to find out what's new & happening. I don't mind receiving them, they are simple enough to delete.

... how about getting the search for Canadians working? We have to put our country & province in when we register... but that's it. LOL... so you register then you are left out of the lifestyle because you aren't American... LOL

JUST KIDDING! - I travel through various states and have no problem searching for local encounters - but can't do a damn thing for local folk.
