OK let me start off by saying this is an IN GENERAL post. Swingular was the first swingers site we joined. We only come around here now pretty much to be amused. The reason for this is that we can't read more than 3 threads on the home page with out encountering MAJOR DRAMA. The people on here (in general) seem to have a favorite past time of arguing with each other and inciting others to join in the mary fun. We repeatedly have come to the conclusion that this is the one aspect of our lives were the sole purpose is FUN and RELAXATION. I don't know about anyone else but arguing and drama and and anything else negative in the LS is just utterly ridiculous and reading the first four post on the thread labeled "porn mail" today just reminded me why we only come here for amusement.
I agree... I hardly come in this site because of this... I only come in to go through our emails and every now and then I go in the forums just to find drama... AM with Cindy Lauper on this one.... Girls just wanna have fun... and I know that the guys do also.... I wish the forums would be more relaxed and laid back.... but I guess it is what it is
We agree with you as well. Sometimes(not all the time), it seems that a few people(not all people) are so quick to judge and be hateful in their posts and emails. We believe in everyone has their own opinion and freedom of speech, etc. but some people have such strong beliefs that they become arrogant on simple stuff like spelling errors and other small things. I can tell you that there are times when I mispell something. And it isn't because I am uneducated. It is usually because I am in a hurry typing and I miss the error when I re-read it before sending. It is almost as if these few people are just waiting for someone to spell something wrong or say something small and insignificant so that they can just jump all over them. We know that everyone is different, but I know that if we meet people like that in person, we don't associate with them. We aren't rude about it, or bash them. We just simply avoid them. Not too many people I know like to be around people like that.
So this begs the question of why be like that on a social website when you are trying to get along and click with people? But you are who you are and we try to be accepting and overlook some of these things that go on. Wouldn't the world be a much happier place if we could all just get along?
Please don't take this as hateful behavior towards anyone. We are simply stating that we would like to see a more positive and happy Swingular site...that is all.

WOW!!!! There are people here that base their whole swinging experience on the forum. You learn something new everyday. I would suggest that if you don't like the content of some of the threads, you avoid them. There are plenty of threads out there that talk about meetings, parties, pics and the like, to keep you occupied. It'll save you the trouble of creating a thread that incites the very drama you are allegedly trying to avoid. I wouldn't blame the "forum drama" for your luck or lack thereof with regard to Swingular. It is far more likely to be your locale. Just a thought.

Overall we enjoy the forums and this site. We have learned some things about the lifestyle from the forums and to sift thru the drama to get this information is worth it in the long run.
We find ourselves in the middle of the road on most topics such as the correction of the spelling. While we prefer an educated couple that can spell we understand that we all make mistakes. The last time I checked I was not able to walk on water so assume that I am not perfect either.
We do use what is put out there in these forums to helps us determine if we want to meet a couple or not. Many other things help us to make the decision but what gets posted here does help us to see what the personality and views are like before a meeting.
We are all adults with our own identities. No guarantee that all of us would get along but a little respect toward each other would be nice. haha.. We are on several sites and have paid for all of them, and yes there is drama in one way or the other on all of them .. they all have there pros and cons.. the only problem we have here is that most everyone lives so far away...

NEWEXPERIMENTS, the numbers don't agree with you. No "pocket books" are in harms way. I just think there are some people that like to play career thin-skinned victims. I hardly think the forum affects anyone's ability to "hook-up" here. The forum is for entertainment and a place to mingle. You can't expect everyone to agree and get along all of the time. We all have our own views, ideas, writing styles, etc. And (as is obvious from this forum) we're not afraid to use them.
