We all like it when people say nice things about us, we then in turn say nice things about them (true or not
I very very rarely leave comments on people's pages so when I do, I definitely mean it. 
I only post if we truelly met the person and only talk about the first timewe meet. We don't encourage people to meet with them as other people have different taste. But I do when other people put you on the spot and say I gave you a cert do you think you can do the same for us.... NOW THAT I DON'T LIKE... I DO IT IF I FEEL LIKE IT
We only write comments when we really mean them, now yes, sometimes down the road things change, but we wouldnt take one back, because at the time, that was true thoughts about other people. If it was one night or 10, we felt this way about a couple, and hopefully other couples will benefit.
On the same token, we believe if you feel strongly enough to want to pull your comment from someones profile, you should have the access to do so. Maybe its something for the Swingular wish list.
