Ok so we've been members for almost 2 years. We've gotten lots of friend request and have e-mailed and chatted with some people on this site. We have been real busy at times and then when that happens we don't visit the site for a while. But the hubby and I are thinking we are really ready to give something a try. The problem is I think it's difficult to find the right couple who is willing to play with us. I'm not sure if something on our profile is driving people away, if there's not enough info or pics, if we say something wrong when we drop a casual hello, or simply the fact that there aren't nearly as many members near our location as there are in other parts of the country. Some advice on how to really find a couple to play with would be greatly appreciated!
Can't imagine why you are having trouble. Too bad you live soo far away and we are so old.
Your profile looks great and your description is fine, so I am guessing that it is your location. It doesn't seem as though there are as many Swingular members in your neck of the woods, so perhaps it's that.
I used to live in New England and found it difficult to meet people off of Swingular, but now that I am in Florida it is much easier.
As a single male it can be difficult meeting couples and singles in the life stlye, so when I send a message to them I am always very descriptive in what I am looking for and ready and willing to travel. I have found that short, casual hellos are not responded to as much as a longer, descriptive messages that reference things that caught your eye about them in their profile.... Do you like one of their pics on their profile? Are you also into threeways? And so on.
I also try to be sure and respond to all E-mails and remain polite with everyone. This is actually a small community and negativity can result in fewer connections.
