Mexican Military Incursion of U.S. Border

The video shows Mexican soldiers racing up a hill to a group of abandoned buildings at a ranch where military transport vehicles with more soldiers were located.
A group of armed Mexican soldiers then returned to the barbed wire fence (on American soil) and confronted the Minutemen volunteers. A discussion in Spanish ensued, with the agitated soldier 'in charge' saying the Americans had no business being there...ON AMERICAN SOIL.

Not to mention, it would hamper the terrorist threat.

The only thing that suprises me about this story is that it broke on MSNBC, as it doesn't fit there usual agenda. Im in full support of the National Guard along the border but I doubt the government will do much, if anything.

KRISTYLYNN2002,
Marijuana had nothing to do with my reasons for posting this. The illegal crossing of our border by another country's army is what I have a problem with.
I would also like to add that I am not a "pothead". I do not smoke the stuff. I only advocate it's legality because I don't think people like you and other self-righteous morons have the right to dictate the freedom or liberty of others.
I am glad that you wrote what you did, because it actually helps my point of legalization. If it were legal here, people wouldn't be trying to illegally smuggle it across the border. It gives the illegal aliens one less reason to be here. Ask yourself this, how many illegal Mexicans are smuggling bottles of alcohol here???
Tell Bongo to shove it up his ass.

All of this border and illegal immigration nonsense is just a reversal of what happened in the years prior to the Mexican War - with only a couple differences. Contrary to history revisionists' beliefs, Mexico didn't really have a legitimate claim to the most of the southwestern states, while our claim is solid. Yet somehow, we're less concerned about losing the territory.
KRISTYLYNN,
Really tired of seeing your mugshots plastered all over the forums. Don is right, and I agree with him completely. Your post, like many others by you make no sense, are weak in argueablility, and are just there to annoy. Please spare us with your Vegas-style photos, with inserted graphics and backdrops. You know, brag and flaunt all you want, but the truth is, with the right editing, lighting, and software, it wouldn't be challenging to make Ma and Pa Kettle look sexy... If I ever decide to go to a Willy Nelson concert, I'll see ya there.

Isn't that like the argument that goes something like this. If you are not against male bisexuality, you must be bisexual yourself. Therefore, if you are not against male bisexuality, you are probably bisexual and cruising the gay bars and picking up gay men all the time.
Talk about reaching.

AKLIM,
No, it's like saying that even though, I myself, am not painfully dying of cancer or some other horribly excruciating illness and wanting my life to end by Doctor assisted euthanization, I would sign my name to a petition and vote for the legalization of Doctor assisted suicide.
I do not care for the "high" or paranoia I feel, when I smoke marijuana, which is why I would and do not smoke it. However, I would definitely legalize it for those that enjoy it. I would probably grow the shit.
If you were referring to their argument and calling me a "pothead" for siding with them, then yes, you are right. It's a form of demonization, not unlike calling someone that doesn't heed or recognize racial boundaries, a "nigger lover". Someone that fears change. It's that very mentality that perpetuates hate and other forms of social injustice.

WILDCRAZE,
I think the drugs and illegals are coming this way from that way. LOL! I think we should start busting people that are crossing. I think we should take away their want to come here by making the money go away. If we fine business so heavily that it affects their ability to operate, Many morons hiring these people won't. If we deny them any public assistance or the right to even reside here, then we take away their ability to live here. If we legalize what they are smuggling and put the control in the hands of American Citizens, we take it away from the cartels. If my way doesn't work, why is it that Amsterdam proves me right? Low crime rate and legal drugs.
I would also like to add that CS tear gas is a far cry from bullets.

Now about the military crossing our boader that is an act of war. Guess Mexico didnt learn their lessionthe last two times they sent in an army to this country.
About the north american union. Here are a few things that I have a question with about this issue. first, they say that all front runners have signed on this issue, if this was so any one other than the president who signed on would have commited a feloney. second, this is not a treaty, if it was there would have to be a debate and since their is no record in congress of that type of action. third, if the pres signed on by way of exeutive dession, and he could, there would be a line of paper trail not just hear say.
now about MJ. Having been on a few test on the lasting effects of this weed, those who say that the lasting effect of weed refuse to accept all medical and non medical tests results. while i am not against making it leagle i am against giving police the extra privalges they would need to test people to see if they were driving under the infulence that would be nessary by prove via blood test. and that is what would be nessary. Blood test results give more information then any one needs to know.
please excuse the spelling and punction while i am highly educated, I have always had a problem with spelling and punction.

As Americans we need to band together against this kind of bullshit, and send our state representatives a message. (Hopefully if enough people complain mabey they'll listen).
Well pretty soon, we will all be sheep and cattle, unless we become aware....I am thrilled someone posted about the NORTH AMERICAN UNION....remember the story of the frog in warm water with the flame under the pot....this is exactly what is happening...our esteemed president has already signed the US onto this...SCREAM BLOODY MURDER to those whores in washington calling themselves congress....
I just returned from a week long excursion on the border...This is what I found...
1.) There is NOWHERE near enough manpower from the DHS on the border.
2.) The Minutemen are not only doing what the feds should be doing, but the border patrol is there HELPING them to do it. They exchange information, food, water and intel.
3.) The border is not actually a border, it is more like a large wall of Swiss Cheese, with more holes than wall.
I do not blame the people from Mexico and other places for wanting to come here, I have been down there MANY times, however, we are a nation of laws and rules, and as long as we are such, they need to be followed. If we were to go there, they would expect us to follow their laws.
I support immigration, as all of us, aside from a few Native Americans, are immigrants. But there is a right and wrong way of doing it. My GF, in this profile, is from Switzerland. She has to apply and wait for more than 8 years to get her Green Card (which is NOT green, btw) and it was a long and arduous process. She also took the time to learn the language before coming here.
In Florida, we have MANY immigrants, both legal and illegal. My experience has been that the vast magority of those who are legal speak, read, write American (as we do NOT use English here), sure, they have some issues, but we do to, and we speak it from the beginning, so not a big deal. BUT those who come illegally do not. Those who do, they conveniently forget as soon as something that is not pleasant comes up. I worked with a gentleman from Guatamala (sp?) for a bit. He spoke PERFECT American when he wanted his paycheck, wanted a day off, wanted some food. But as soon as he was behind in his electric bill, he had a car payment due that he could not make or something to that effect, he would come to me, "I no speaky English, you call _______ (insert bill company name) for me?" He is not the only one I have experienced, he is simply one of many.
This is bullshit, and until we, the American voters, do something about it, it will not change.
Go out, register, vote, and make sure that the one you vote for is "tough" on immigration.

Alton,
I'll be the bigger man. Since this is the public forum, I'll take this to the "Free Thinkers" group. Just in case you are not savvy enough to figure out how to push the groups button, I've taken the liberty (if you know what that word means), to include a button for you.

Personally, I am not wild about dumping more people on the border. What would the point be? Are you going to give them orders to "shoot to kill"? All we are doing is having a revolving door. They get caught, they get deported and the story begins again. If you are going to give them "shoot to kill" orders, I would think a mechanized version of the Berlin Wall would be way, way cheaper.
As someone said, if you want to stop them coming here, take away their incentive. Say you fine them (businesses, employers) a half million per illegal they hire for the first offense. 2nd offense you jail the owners and fine them. Think it will continue?
The farmers are going to say "well, that means your strawberries are going to go up next year.". That puts the kibosh on that idea. Why? Because we are scared that it will happen. It is fear mongering at it's best. We are for it till it might hit us in the wallet. When a hint of that happens, we will cave. Of course, they don't mention what the cost of the illegals is in the health benefits, enforcement, "anchor babies", etc, etc. Nobody is saying we can't hire these people. JUST DO IT LEGALLY. So we can create a seperate class of VISA that doesn't change things. When it is done, they leave. Make it the responsibility of the employer to see that they do. Sure, it takes a little money to do that. What does it cost to have the illegals here?

LOL this isnt new. Case and point Dale Brown wrote a book in May 2006 called " Edge of Battle" and surprisely it touches on several issues but still remains a fiction book. We have lots of folks crying out for the rights of the ones that have illegally crossed into our country... all kinds of folks can enter into our country and we have no control over which ones want to work and which ones want to create another 9/11 ... food for thought
AKLIM...Here's a little to think about for your argument about how much the cost of strawberries (or whatever else will go up):
When you go to 7-11, Circle K, or any other gas station/convenience store, what do you pay for a cup of coffee? $1.60? $1.75? $2?
Go to Starbucks and buy a cup of coffee that is the same size, I am NOT talking about the fancy ones, just plain old drip coffee here. What do you pay?
In Florida, it is $1.80 at the Circle K for a 20 ounce cup of coffee, it is $1.60 for the SAME size at Starbucks.
Circle K (for those of you who do not have them, cicle k is a convenience store, like 7-11) pays minimum wage with NO benefits. Starbucks pays MORE than minimum wage PLUS benefits.
So, taking that as ONE example, how much will your strawberries go up?
