If I had to guess I suspect that Jan 01 is the default in the system, so if someone does not enter their birthday the system uses Jan 1st.
Actually I do think people lie about their age all the time. Just was pointing out that the high number of cpls who have the same birthday (i.e. Jan 1st) is probably do the user not entering their birthdate and the system using a default in this case Jan 1st as their birthday.
dont know how old i am.... with all the numbers running through my head you would have to ask the wife... i was born in 69 tho good year and good position... hehehe
