So, reading through profiles, so many people say they are "drama free" and expect the same. What does that mean? At first I completely agreed. I thought, of course! Drama is not good, and can't be fun to deal with. But the longer I think about it, the more i realize that it is inevitable. Everyone has their "shit" to deal with. We all have lives, and they all get complicated at some time or another. To become involved in someones life to ANY extent means to become involved with their "drama" to SOME extent.
Anyway....I will stop rambling. Tell me your thoughts on the subject!

I think Blindlove nailed it on the head.
Single guys get a bad rap around here but I have to say that they are so much easier than other couples to deal with. We have yet to have a single guy with drama issues but can't say the same for couples.
We have had couples split and blame the lifestyle instead of their poor communication. Another couple would get mad if one got to play at a party and the other half was not asked to join or play with someone else. Hell, the one time the male half of former friends got mad because I asked the husband of a new couple to shoot pool instead of him. Never heard of a straight guy getting jealous over another straight guy shooting pool.
Maturity plays a huge part. Because we play within the same large group of couples you can`t help but to develop friendships so when they go thru hard times we try to be a friend and help. Their maturity keeps them from overly burdening us with their problems.
Not sure if I expressed myself well but I tried. Maturity really covers a lot of ground.

Drama: At a party with another couple 100 miles from home - we're all sharing a hotel room. She gets mad because he's talking to another woman. Big fight in front of 50-60 couples at this party. We end up driving them home in separate vechicles and hope they don't kill each other when we drop them off.
When we left the party after packing it was just getting crazy with naked people running up and down the halls! We wanted to stay so badly but DRAMA got in the way.

Drama...couples fighting, getting mad at the others behavior at a party, pouting, being over dramatic about stupid stuff...just to name a few things. When we refer to drama free, it means that we are there to have fun and leave the 'real' world behind. We know that we all live in that 'real' world, but when it comes time to play that is what we want, play, not fighting, bickering and bitching. We have friends from the lifestyle that we can spend an extended amount of time with and everything runs smoothly...it is fantastic.
Leave the drama at home and have fun.
