Well I got to tell you. Either some people are not as old as they say they are in there profiles or the lifestyle keeps you young. I have noticed that most of the people that say they are in there 40's look like they are in there 30's. you gotta love that.
Well, they could be using old photos. Speaking of which, how many of you actually update your photos as either time passes or interesting things are photographed?
Isn't it strange that this topic has two postings and neither of you guys have pictures? Just a thought!

Speaking for us, we don't have pictures up yet because we're new to this and a bit apprehensive about coming out in the open, so to speak. The other part of the problem is finding a suitable picture where we're both happy with how we look. Yes, we're probably procrastinating a bit but that first reason is the pervasive one.

Hey Im one that keeps new pic's on my profile! If you don't look your age good. If you not happy with the pic's you have get new ones. If you dont want some one seeing your face you can blurr it. But you really should add SOME pic.

In our pics....people always say that Brooke looks younger....and because of my hair color people usaually think that I look older.........bottom line.....you are as old as you feel or act........pics are not always the best indication of peronality or how you actually act or feel....

We have always had pics with our profiles, and we don't mind letting people see who we are. We've never had any problems yet. We figure if someone sees us on a swingers website, they must be there for the same reasons we are, or they wouldn't be looking in the first place.

we change ours as we make new ones and try to keep the newest on our profile and we have found that it is usually the ladies that look younger than they say .... no offence guys lol but the ladies just grow old more gracefully than we do ... but i always thought that was a good thing ....you can look at this pic of cathy is about 3 or 4 yrs old and the one of her on our profile is less than a yr old about the only difference is her hair ..

We try to keep our pics updated but we do have a cpl that are a few years old post them only because she looks the same now as she did then. I wish I knew the secret to how the hell she keeps looking so young we could be millonaires! She gets her age guessed all the time as in her mid 20's and she is 46! This is a pic we took less than a month ago

We try to make sure we have pics less than a year old....doesn't mean we get rid of old pics...but there are always current pics of us on our profile. The big problem is the number of people who don't post any kind of pic....are they hiding something?
Keeping current photos posted is very important to us. We will not met a couple from online without seeing current photos first. Let's face it, physical attraction is 90% of the game. Plus most of the time it's the only way to pick someone out in a public place. If you don't show people what you look like how do you expect to me them.
We keep some older photos (3 years or less) just because we haven't changed that much. We're shutter buggs anyway so I'm always snapping more photos of the wife.

No insult to anyone, but our point of view is that if you are serious about being honest you should update at least one clear pic every year. The statement "we have not changed any" is so lame it's unreal. Let us set the record straight. EVERYONE changes, you just don't always realize it. So get up and get the camera out.
Also for those that don't have a digital. Stop being so tight and give up the extra $5 to get your film photos copy to cd (ie..walmart) Or goto to just about any copy shop (ie Kinkos) and scan the pic.
For those concerned about your face, get a webcam. Only a select few people involved in this lifestyle have the time to waste meeting people without knowing ahead of time if the attraction is there.
If any of those excuses sound like something that you have typed or said you should know that there really is no good excuse.

well we would like to chime in here on behalf of those who require the descretion for any particular reason. red and i are unable, due to our employment status, post public pix. but we do however , have CURRENT private pix that we will usually grant access to after an email exchange or two. 90% of the time we will request their pix or have seen their pix prior to our sending.. of course this is more like a screening for those who may come in contact with us through our employment.....and yes it may seem to leave us at an advantage over those who may be interested but we have little choice with the way things are... and to overcome this we will exchange emails or phone #'s to create a confort level that may be needed.

We are usually mistaken for younger than we actually are. (32 and 31) Some couples have avoided us in the past because they felt that we were lying about our ages. Hmph! We have just got \"good jeans\" or something. LoL.
Overall, it is not really an issue unless we are trying to buy liquor or cigarettes. Then it is not flattering anymore, it is simply a nuisance.

I cannot speak for the couples but it has been our experience that men, especially the married ones, usually do lie about it. I have seen them shave as much as 10 years off their age. Do they really think we will not notice?

The worst case we have witnessed where someone was not honest about his age resulted in us walking out of a restaurant where we were to meet him. This guy had sent us pics of a young looking man who was slim and in shape. We were sitting off in a corner when he came walking in. We were shocked! He weighed at least 50 pounds more and was way out of shape, obviously about 7 years older as well.
He had not seen a face pic of us yet so we quietly just slipped out of the place without even greeting him. He wasn\'t happy about that but he did not deserve to even meet us after that.
He later admitted he lied and removed his profile completely. People WILL notice!

Yoga, it does a body good!...40 years young and getting younger.
She does yoga, too. Hard to believe she has a 4 year old. Our pics were all taken within the last 4 months.

why is it that so much importantance is placed on age as long as your legal age should,nt matter
Age is an important factor to most people. Swinging is about Fantasy and pleasure and very few people have fantasies about playing with people old enough to be their parents or grandparents. Also for those people looking for something more than just a 1 night stand they want things in common and large age differences can prevent that.
As for pics, if your pics are more than 12 months old they are out of date and even though you don\'t think you have changed you have. Even if your pictures don\'t do you justice you should still post some. I personally dislike most of my pictures and have even been told I look better in person than in my pictures.
As for security/comfort level for shy people please consider putting up a few in your private folder and just allowing people you are interested in to view them. That\'s what I have done.

Physical attraction is very important. Most women don\'t like my grey balding hair. I understand that and my pic is recent, its in our private pics and we provide it to anyone who we may be going to meet. I don\'t know why some people think that if your a swinger you have to accept anything and everybody regardless of their looks or personality. Be honest, post recent pics of you both.
