We just returned from a vacation in Europe to find some interesting things being posted on the Swingular forums. After reading a few of these posts and then contacting our attorneys, we wanted to let everyone know what we know so far.
As far as we can gather, the postings by GSC are an attempt to scare the members and management of Swingular. We have not seen or received any 'OFFICIAL' correspondence (emails, letters, etc..) from said party or their counsel. At this point, we do not know what their allegations are since we have not received anything.
Our attorneys have informed us that they will seek out any and all information possible if such issues exist.
In the meantime, we will be contacting GSC directly and hope for a response. Our attorneys will be filing suit against GSC for defamation and slander against Swingular and loss of income due to their postings, etc... whether or not any issues by them exist.
At this point, we want to assure our members that their privacy is protected and that Swingular will continue to operate as normal. We will post new information as we receive it.

GSC did knowingly and willfully wage a "smear" campaign" against Swingular and it's owner, in an attempt to pressure the Swingular Staff into punishing other members of the website for their abrasive exchange of words in the forum. It was also a lame attempt to gain sympathy and <b>money</b> from swingular members. I hope no one was foolish to fall for that shit.
I am sure there is more than one person on this website that will attest to the many instances where GSC wrote that they would seek any means available to defame swingular.

The difference between he and people like me, is that I am not threatening anyone when I choose to use colorful adjectives to voice my opinion. I am not threatening to violate others' privacy. What I say is in jest and often banter. GSC was trying to stop what the 1st ammendment protects, when he complained about me, because I was only expressing an opinion in my own way.
The way he chose to exact his revenge wasn't protected by free speech, because he chose to threaten the site and it's members. There is a big difference. It's easy to ignore someone you don't agree with, it's not easy to ignore someone threatening to compromise your privacy or sue you. Especially someone that is keeping that non-sense on the frontpage everyday through spamming and flooding the forum in an attempt to keep it on the front page.
With regard to "Free Speech", remember, <i>anyone</i> can use the "I'm offended" excuse to silence a person and their views. People like that, often draw the line of "socially acceptable", based upon their own dogma or sense of morals and all else is deemed "offensive" or "socially unacceptable" and should not be tolerated as free speech. It's a perfect excuse for bigotry. Remember, we don't all float in the same social circles.
Often, instead of exercising tolerance and donning a thicker skin, when diving into a diverse pool of people, learning what the true meaning of diversity is, some of us choose to take offense to everything as a way to draw attention ourselves. Some make it their life's ambition to find ways to be offended. The try and make others conform to their sense of right and wrong. Is that the way it should be? Remember, swinging is offensive to mainstream society... So, before you judge people for what they say, and how they say it, look at yourselves and apply that logic to you.

As most of you know, we do not monitor the forums very much as we expect everyone, being adults, to be able to handle matters on their own. There have been quite a few times, though, when things have gone a bit out of hand but people voiced their opinions and I dealt with it appropriately.
If a situation like that happens again, there are steps that can be taken to resolve these issues and it starts with contacting an administrator. Our next step would then be to handle the issue with the parties privately and go from there.
We definitely want our members to be able to speak freely and voice their opinions but we also want this to be a fun place as that is the original intention behind meeting and hooking up with others as this site provides. The occasional heated debate is definitely a nice change of things once in a while but we can't forget what we all initially came here for and that is to make new friends, not enemies.
With that said, we will continue to refrain from interfering in the forums but will step in when absolutely necessary. Hopefully, we can avoid a situation like this in the future so Swingular will always be around for you to enjoy.

I contacted UPS and told them that I needed them to verify a package due to a very sensitive and private matter. They agreed. I asked them if they could kindly open the package, take a photo of the contents and send me the picture. This is what I got back. It appears these tracking numbers are coming to GSC's address in Utah. Hmmm, Nice going GSC..
