Just wanted to ask a general question....What is wrong with the state of Florida....No one really does anything it is all talk and no action. All emails....send pics....oh too busy...my children....have plans....work...its all a bunch of bull...we have work..we have children...we are busy as well....We still find the time to meet and go out and do light travel. No, you are right.....it's not only you that feels that way... But usually when ever we play is because we went to a meet and greet and not made anyplans... Or we go to swing clubs

Lucky we guess....we are Mich Transplants and have had pretty good luck here in the Sunshine State since our move here,not once have we been stood up or disappointed in the couples or single males we have met here...and do agree meet&greets can be a fun way to break the ice and you can personally see who you may have an attraction to and who may have one for you.....again lucky we guess.
I never know when the kids are going to be away... so for us meet and greets work great

Depending on where you're looking it can be frustrating. We didn't realize it was a FL issue, as we started our exploration of the lifestyle after we moved to FL. The majority of the people we've talked to online have had problems with making plans and sticking to them. Maybe things are that crazy in their lives and if so, I wish them all sorts of luck trying to coordinate schedules so they can actually get out ever. We have very full lives too, but rarely have we needed to change plans and if we did we reschedule right away if possible so that its not a total letdown cuz we really hate doing it.
I'd second (ok, by now its about 5th or 6th) the recommendation about house parties, meet and greets, because those are the people who are really willing to get out and do more than talk. Its kinda funny how people are more willing to jump right into playing at a party than they are to go out to dinner and get to know you a little to see if there's a mutual attraction first.
In any case, keep looking the fun people ARE out there!

We didn`t get into swinging till we moved here from Philadelphia. We entered the lifestyle by going to house parties and enjoy that the most. Trying to matc hschedules with one other couple is hard then you have to add the sitter availability to it and it leaves you wondering when you will actually be able to go and have some fun. So we decided to host our own house parties with mature couples that understand no does not mean you have to get all pissy about it.
We have been lucky to match up perfectly with a couple and get together often but still love the variety that comes with house parties. No worries about hitting it off between the four of you at a party. I just wish we didn`t pick such a dead zone to live in on the west coast.

WoW!! Thank all of you for responding to this forum. We do both really appreciate it. I was a little upset about last night. I Had a Halloween Party; we had shrimp cocktail, Swedish meatballs, Salads of all types, deviled eggs, muffins, Pizza, wedding soup, beer, wine, drinks of all types, h'orderves, cakes, cookies....you name it; we had. To top it off it all was free. We even had gift cert. to give away. But the turn out was terrible.

The halloween party was way better then we ever expected so time to chat was at a minumum. The little we did get to chat about this subject seems that most were afraid of all the fakes out there. We live north of Tampa and we've never had a problem getting as much or as little action as we please. Florida rocks for sexually active people.
We agree with everyone here. Just got to weed out the real couples from the fakes, go to parties and meet and greets, and try other sites. We've been on this site since 8/04 and haven't met a single couple. The main reason we keep coming back is we find the hatefullness in most of these forums funny. Cas, we have a suggestion for you. Try to meet one of the couples at a meet and greet before a party so you can get to know them. We have been to many house parties and they all have different atmospheres but must say hardly the thing where you have to be with the in crowd. When we were new we went to house parties after going to one meet and greet but were overwhelmed by how many knew each other so us being new made us kind of shy at first. We did talk to a few couples but that was only a very small percentage of the couples there. We didn`t see it as a success for us but we went back to the next party and got talking to more and each time it improved. Bottom line is just get your feet wet and let what happens natural take over from there.

Ya whats wrong with Fl?? We have been in Key West over a week and not even a email from any body. Not even a welcome to KW and have fun at Fantasy fest. Golly gee wizz FL WTF???
